I'm guessing it was an observation on how we all are used to streaming on demand and binge watching. Sometimes I will just ignore a new Netflix, HBO or Amazon Prime season until it's all released simply so I can watch the season in a few consecutive nights.

Ya I can see that I guess. Maybe if we'rent in fucking lock down (and in my case out of a job) at home all day with nothing to do, I could have waited it out. Having that said, it's 10 episodes, that's kind of long to wait out..lol.

The Last Dance reminded me of how fuckin' hot Carmen Electra was (and still is). She's always been very respectful of her time with Rodman. Apparently, she says they fucked all over the Bulls practice facility. Lol. The oh-so brief marriage probably makes sense in the context of celebritydom. They got a lot of media attention. If I was Kim Jong Un, I would have asked Rodman to introduce me to Carmen Electra.

I don't think Kim Jong needs Dennis if he wanted to...

How fucking stupid is Scottie Pippen tho for signing that bs cheap contract ,
they explain in the documentary. He had two family members in wheelchairs. Plus the NBA had not yet exploded to that point. If he holds off and goes short term then gets hurt, he's no longer able to help his family. Its not til shortly thereafter that the NBA starts growing exponentially. I watched the Bulls for years and they weren't on the map until they started winning 2nd and 3rd time.

Back then was a different time. People weren’t playing for their brand or tweets. They also had no idea that the league would explode.
I think , like it was mentioned below, that Scottie just wanted security.
The Bulls should have given him a break and paid him and done twenty different things to keep the run going.

For starters, he still made 110 million on his basketball career alone, never mind endorsements. So let's not feel to sorry for him.

Like the other guys have mentioned, really wasn't that stupid. You have to take into consideration a bunch of things. At the time, Pippen hadn't peaked yet. He was good player but not the superstar he ended up becoming. Kind of like what's happening in baseball right now with a lot of the young players like Ronald Acuna Jr. who signed a long term contract with the Braves. It's a gamble. You can play out your existing contract, hope you don't get hurt, play well and take advantage of the open market, or not take the risk your not going to have a bad final year or get hurt. He chose the security.

Just remember, in 1991 he wasn't even an all-star and was the 16th highest paid player in the league. It was just the way it all worked out the back end of the contract bit him in the ass.

Charles Barkley says blame Jerry Reinsdorf for breaking up the World Champion Bulls. Reinsdorf didn't want to pay the trio of MJ, Phil Jackson and Scottie Pippen.

Jerry Krause was just the fall guy. He shielded Reinsdorf from the criticism. When Reinsdorf saw the payroll exploding after '98 he probably asked Krause "Do you think you can rebuild this thing so we win just enough games to fill the seats?" As far as winning championships, anyone can look at a list of NBA champions and see a few teams hoard the O'Brien Trophy every decade. The two Jerrys would have had to be sniffing glue if they really believed it would be easy to reassemble a championship team.

Here's a great sequence where the Bulls block Charles Smith four times in a row under the basket. Charles Smith who was no slouch was trying to give the Knicks a 3 games to 2 lead in the 1993 Eastern Conference Finals. The Bulls were ferocious on defense. The Bulls obviously went on to finish the Knicks in six and beat the Phoenix Suns for the championship.

The comment section humorously points out that this would be would be four fouls in today's genteel game.

Loved the part where the Nike Exec said they hoped MJ's first shoe would sell 3 million pairs within the first 4 years.... After the first year they sold 128 million.
This doc has the best soundtrack evvver

I know that's world wide, but holy fuck that's a lot of shoes. At that time, the pupulation of the U.S was about 250 million. The equivalent of more then every other American having a pair

Last two episodes still not leaked???

I need closure. Such a great throwback to a very special period in time. Arguably the best era in basketball. The Bulls could have won as many as 10 championships if Jordan hadn't retired at his peak, and if the team wasn't broken up by management after MJ got 6 rings.

As for the comparisons between LBJ and MJ... I love Lebron. I think he's a beautiful human being and one of the best players of all time. But he's no MJ. MJ is the star of stars. Faster, more creative, higher vertical, tougher, better footwork, smoother, killer mentality, and a winner. To top it off, the mystique, coolness, swag, his regal quality. MJ was transformative to the game and to culture/business. To a significantly lesser degree, I think Curry is transformative in helping to change the league into a 3-point shooting game.
