The Cadillac STS had this system years ago and it was on the windsheild too. However, it was not using a thermo sensing technology like the BMW. Anyhow, BMWs are known for their engines, not their "other" technical stuff ...
Very nice. I assume it will be primarily for those "heat" spots that run across the road when you cant see them...the movement on the screen should be enough to grab the driver's attention.
