The man is a clown, a dark brown streak on the city's records.
And as usual the lumox ran away from reporters and hid today.

And as usual the lumox's bully-boy brother lashed out at left-wing conspirators.

And as usual his supporters upon hearing of the audit report say, "so what."

And as usual just another day at the other-worldly, parallel universe Ford Hall.

"Its all about subways folks."

"There's $3billion of gravy floating around City Hall folks."

"It's all about democracy folks."

"Im a fiscal conservastive folks."

"I was CFO of Deco Labels and Tags folks."

Yes, we know that Ford can live off his father's money and not run an election debt.
I'd trust a politician that had to raise the money themselves according to the rules over someone using his father's cash and connections.
The point being, however, that breaches of the election spending laws aren't all that unusual.

They don't often result in charges, but the damage from this one is that it'll still be being investigated when its time for the next election.
Ford will be in the headlines over cheating on elections during elections.
Not so good for the big guy.

The point being that we make laws to try to stop them. We all know pols—Rob'n'Doug included—get tempted and pushed into low dealings, even outright criminality, but that does not mean we think it's OK. Nor excusable because 'everybody does it', a common prejudice, which exercises like the current compliance audit proves not to be true at all.

But perhaps I'm speaking for myself.

Correct.

How can you trust a politician to be clean if they cheated to get in?
Only a fool would.

I think people need to understand the definitions of left and right on the political spectrum.

CBC and Toronto Star - left wing
Globe&Mail - centre to centre left
CTV - centre
National Post - centre right
Sun Media - right wing
