One walk off was the famous Kirk Gibson homer, while the other was a Mark McGwire extra innings dinger.

1) Bob Gibson and Ted Simmons in 1971.
This will change when Justin Verlander is elected to the Hall of Fame since Ivan Rodriguez, who caught his first no-no, is already in.

2) Allie Reynolds and Yogi Berra in 1951.
Roy Halladay and Carlos Ruiz in 2010.

3) Wilson Alvarez in 1991(answered correctly by onomatopoeia)
Clay Buchholz in 2007.

Yesterday, the Blue Jays defeated the Mariners 13 to 4. There was a famous/infamous game in NHL history with the same score. Name the teams involved, and the reason the game was famous/infamous.

1988- playoff game between Oilers and Bruins at Boston Gawden, when there was a power failure, game had to be finished out in Edmonton
