Luis Arraez, traded from the Florida Marlins to the San Diego Padres today, could potentially be the first player to ever win a batting average championship as a member of three different teams. He won the AL crown in 2022 as a Minnesota Twin, and the NL crown in 2023 as a Marlin.

1) If Arraez wins the National League batting title this year, he would become only the second player ever to win in a season in which he played for two different teams. Who is the only player to have accomplished this feat?

2) Arraez is the second player to have won a batting title in each of the National and the American Leagues. Who is the only player who has accomplished this feat?

3) In addition to Arraez and the correct answer to 2), only three other players have ever won a batting title as a member of two different teams
*. Name all three.

Answer 1), 2), or 3), or any combination of the three. No partial answers for 3), please.

* The player from 1) only won one batting championship in his career.

1) Answered correctly by K Douglas, (Harry Walker and Trea Turner).

Special Prize awarded to K Douglas.

2) Answered correctly by mitchell76, (D.J. LeMahieu).

Who won the Heisman Trophy two years after he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree?
Joe Burrow. He graduated OSU and transferred to LSU as a grad transfer but still has 2-3 years eligibility left, on account of redshirting and COVID.

Correct!

Burrow graduated from Ohio State in three years, (2015-17). Because he had been a red shirt in his Freshman year, he had two additional years of eligibility. As a grad student, he didn't have to wait a year after transferring to LSU, (2018-19). COVID was not a factor.

There is some specific hockey trivia associated with this clip from Slapshot. Can anyone guess what it is?
ANSWER: In this clip player/coach Reg Dunlop(Paul Newman) tries to take a nap in his apartment after putting a bounty on an opposing player during a radio interview. In real life the apartment belonged to future NHL player and coach Bruce Boudreau. He was in the minors at the time and had a bit role in the movie.
