Cashman played one game for the Boston Bruins in the 1964-65 season, and retired after the 1982-83 season.

Serge Savard played two games for the Montreal Canadiens in 1966-67, and last played in 1982-83 for the Winnipeg Jets, but the Bruins played an additional round in the 82-83 playoffs.
