New System in Gas Pumps.

I know at some gas stations if your Credit card or debit card is authorized for lets say 100 dollars and it takes 50 to fill up. Some gas companies take a full 24 hrs to release the remaining money left over.

Choose Amount starting from 20.00 that is robbery, because I usually put $5 when it is high then wait for it to drop

sorry but whoever has time to spend at gas stations trying to save .50c or a buck needs a different job, not a different gas pump system

I might be wrong but I recall having a "full tank" option (or somthing like that) - I pressed that and put in whatever I wanted.

I've had no problems with paypass at petrocan. Tap the machine and pump your gas.

We do the same to Americans though. It's somewhat understandable considering cross-border preauthorization procedures, but not good for helping tourism.

No, funny though. The processes for credit/debit cards recognize cards as being from CAD or US banks, not sure whether by their numbers or by information on the black stripe.
