Cena was getting booed. When that starts to happen its no surprise he lost the title. His gimmick is getting old.

I think he'd be a better heel than face.

Edge is only holding the title, expect to see someone take it pretty soon.

Who cares who the champion is?

As long as they change it often like, at least, every 2 months or so.

HHH for over a year? Cena for like 7 months? JBL for 10 months? Ridiculous.

Angle as champion? Doesn't work, he is better as a underdog chasing the belt. Edge as champion? That sucks as much as Cena being Champion. HHH is the only choice as champion on the Raw roster. But i think he will be tied up on Baby duty soon... :) Chris masters as Champ? Don't think he is ready for it. JBL is a waist of a wrestler, wish he would just retire. Whats up with Undertaker?

Actually I think angle makes a great champ. With him and divari they make a good villain to hate. He's good on the mic and great in the ring. So what this means is that you could build a number of storylines around a number of up and coming wrestlers chasing the title. Angle can help to hype the matches on the mic and when they finally do wrestle the fans are paid off with a great match.

Anyways, I think Kurt has a great way of getting booes out of a crowd and it will just mean that the fans will like whoever is going against him that much more.

Also, by having a guy who can wrestle a great match will help give credibility to the title and focus on the main event of PPVs.

As for JBL while I don't like him he is great at being the heel.

JBL and the older HHH ... Are they great heals or do people just not like them? I realize that's supposed to be one in the same but I think that can blur a good heal's actual talent at getting heat. I think of "Corporate" Rock, DX's Shawn Michael's and even Carlito.

For instance, I think most people hate JBL because he's just not an interesting character or very talented of a wrestler and thus the disdain is from being forced to see this guy get a push.

Similarly, HHH probably is disliked for all the behind the scenes politics he has going for him more than the actual character anymore. He gets into the main event for banging the owner's wife instead of really earning it anymore.

So heal or dislike?

In a handbasket, wanna come along?
Edge is a better choice than some of the options, thinkabout it. The options are the new, Carlito, Chris Masters, are not even close to ready, the old Flair, HBK, its been done before and everyone else is not even close to interesting. PLease, Viscera, etc. Edge was the only choice. Either that or give Kane or the Big Show 2 belts.

It takes talent to be a heel. Not everyone can do it "properly". I think one of the best heel in WWE/WWF history was the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase. I hated that guy. Now I have to respect that guy. He did a great job and if the WWE HOF was a "normal" HOF, he'll be in already.

Heel or dislike.

I see your point in the case of JBL and HHH you're right there are many reasons to hate them other than their skill at playing the part.

I don't like JBL for his limited ability to wrestle but on the mic he got progressively better, I think by the time he started telling everyone he was a "wrestling god" he had won me over as a fan of his work. In his case I think they used him well given how little he is worth. But even the cabinet was great for getting OJ and the BAshems some time on the show. Basically they were able to use 4 guys who stink in some decent angles.

So to answer your question you're right my general dislike for them stems from more than just their acting abilities.

On the subject of heels I think they should use Steven Regal as a heel. Why? Good on the mic, can actually wrestle, hilarious facial expressions especially when showing disgust and people already don't like him. I mean for gods sake if they are hyping fit finley with vignettes. Then they should team him up with regal and do something with that. I believe regal and angle could have a really good mat wrestling match.
