Training camp is here, pads & shorts and two-a-days in the summer heat. Every team has hope and says, the same old lies, "we like your chances and what we did during the off-season."
This is also the time when X number of players get injury and miss the entire season, before even one game is played.

Jets - A-Rod to the Jets, wonderful! They immediately improve their offense and will compete for the division title. Can't wait to see how Aaron performs in the Big Apple, after the mistake of Zack Wilson as a top pick.

Lions - Other than the Jets, no other team has gotten more hype/love than the Detroit Lions. Almost everybody is picking them to win the NFC North. The hype is so real they were placed in the Thursday night season opener against the Chiefs. A lot of people are saying the Lions will compete for the NFC championship.

Bills - Still a top team in the NFL, but they may have a Stefon Diggs problem. The AFC East might be the best division in the league, so the Bills will have a fight on their hands for division title.

Cowboys - Good enough to win it all, but will probably come up short in the playoffs again.

Chiefs - SB champs, odds are they don't win it again. They are about the same as last year, but that doesn't mean they go back to the SB.

49ers - Looks like they going with Brock Purdy at QB, is he completely healthy?? Defense is awesome and one of the favorites to win NFC crown.

Eagles - Same as last year, top team in the NFC. I cheer for Jalen Hurts, he's a really good dude.

Bengals - About the same as last year, should win the division.

Chargers - Have the talent to win it all or not make the playoffs in a very tough AFC. Herbert is awesome.

Dolphins - Can Tua stay healthy, maybe. They have the talent to win the AFC East.

Broncos - New HC Sean Payton is proven winner, that alone makes them better. Russell Wilson has something to prove and they might surprise some people.

Browns - Year two of the Deshaun Watson experiment, they will be better, but probably not good enough.

Packers - The Jordan Love era begins and I think he will be good enough. They still have the best defense in the NFC North.

Steelers - Year two of Kenny Pickett, defense is solid and could be a wild-card playoff team. I think they finish around 9-8 and miss the playoffs in a tough AFC.

Falcons - Watch out for the Falcons, they could win the weak NFC South. If Desmond Ridder is decent, they could be a surprise team.

Colts - Rookie QB Anthony Richardson is an electric ATH, but will struggles throwing. Don't see them winning more than 7 or 8 games.

Commanders - Going with Sam Howell at QB, good luck with that.

Vikings - Won the NFC North and got bounced in their 1st playoff game. I think they take a step back this year, I don't trust Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook is gone.

Raiders - Jimmy G. at QB, and I like Jimmy G, but probably a .500 team in the AFC.

Bears - They could double their win total and still have only 6 wins. Will be better with Fields second year as starter, 7 or 8 wins at best.

Giants - About the same as last year, good enough to compete with anybody, but not a top team.

Hate to disappoint you but the NFL banned 2 a days in the last CBA.
They also regulated how many full contact/padded practices they can have during the year.

Time for all the Young buck QBs to earn their monster sized paychecks..
I wanna see who takes control of their team and runs with it
OR
Who takes the money and coasts?
And
Let's see how the Aaron Rodgers experiment goes..

Yeah, I don't think they can practice in pads twice a-day anymore. The NFL is slowly turning into a non-contact, flag football league. They even discussed taking away the kickoff after scores, but I think they did adopt the college rule on kickoffs. Where you can fair-catch the ball out of the endzone anywhere and the ball is placed at the 25 yd.

Burrow got hurt during training camp. I'm holding my breath hoping our QB is ready for the season.
Burrow is great, but has a calf injury and will probably miss all of pre-season. Hopefully it won't be a nagging issue for most of the year. You guys might have a Joe Mixon problem, he can't seem to stay out of trouble, he's a bad dude.

Oh please. Joe Mixon is an angel compared to some of the guys we had about 10 years ago.

Patriots - Defense solid, but weapons needed on offense, miss playoffs again in tough AFC.

Ravens - I like Lamar Jackson and a little surprised he's back in Balt. Jackson has been getting banged-up lately and missing games. They added OBJ, coming off an ACL injury after missing a year. Solid defense and probably have 9 or 10 wins, but miss the playoffs.

Texans - Bad, but got young talent in the draft, lucky if they win 4 or 5 games this year. The C.J. Stroud era begins.

Jaguars - Trevor Lawrence and Doug Pederson are a good match, should win the AFC South easily.

Titans - Human hammer Derrick Henry matches the physical play Titans are known for, but surprised Ryan Tannehill is still QB. Won't be surprised if Willis or Levis takes over as the starting QB sometime this season. They struggle to get an .500 record.

Panthers - # 1 pick Bryce Young begins his career, expect some growing pains. The NFC South is so bad, they could finish 2nd in the division.

Saints - QB Derek Carr begins his tenure with the Saints, they will be luck to win 7 or 8 games.

Buccaneers - Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask are battling it out for starting QB, Baker probably wins it. Bucs will be bad this year, hello 5 or 6 six wins.

Cardinals - Awful and Kyler Murray might be out for the year, they might looking to move on from Murray as well. They are going with Colt McCoy at QB, the Caleb Williams tanking begins.

Rams - Matthew Stafford has or had an elite arm, he's oft injured now and career might be over. Stafford to Cooper Cup is a great combination, and they still have Aaron Donald. It's still a rebuilding year, but at least they can beat-up on the Cards, will be lucky if they get 6 or 7 wins.

Seahawks - Geno Smith has been a surprise and made the playoffs last year, but defense was sub-par. About the same as last year and finish 2nd in the NFC West, but miss the playoffs.

But just the first full year.

Go Brownies.
The Browns are an interesting team, with some top talent like Garret, Chubb and Watson. So much is going to depend on Watson and if the defense can step-up. I think they will be pretty good and compete for a wild-card playoff spot. The AFC North is going to be a dogfight, the Steelers probably come in last, and Mike Tomlin has never had a losing season.

First game of the year, the Bengals come to Cleveland and if the Browns can win that game. It could set-up the start to a great year, but if they lose(esp. if Burrow is out) and look bad, it could be another long year.

Insightful team by team analysis. Impressive.

Jets sign RB Dalvin Cook on a 1-yr deal, Cook is a top ten back in the league with great speed. The Jets are all in and will be in the playoff hunt, the AFC East is the best division in the league.
Week 1. MNF - Bills vs Jets...can't wait.

I'm (maybe only me) surprised that a player who has already suffered one CA is allowed to participate in a high contact sport like NFL football (this is not badminton).

What makes me shake my head is the internet/ TV studio doctors(not real doctors) saying Tua should retire after 2 concussions but making Hamlen some kind of warrior hero for returning to play.
The guy was dead. No heartbeat. Needed life saving procedures. Now he is a idle of so many people. This guy is the one who should retire. Will the NFL have a fatality on field this year?
And all these former players bashing Tua for wanting to keep playing football and laughing at him for taking up Jiu Jitsu to prolong his career. How many concussions did they suffer and keep playing or not even reporting them to team trainers or doctors. Bunch of hypocrites.
