was just going to sleep, looked out my front window and what do i see, some jerkoff trying to see if i had left my doors to my truck unlocked. then he was digging around in the back of my truck, until i turned the front light on and opened the front door.

this moron tries to casually walk across the street, while i give him a few choice words and walk towards him. he signals for a cab, which was slowly tailing behind him, so i know these two clowns were together. i gave him fair warning that next time i see him, i will hand his ass to him. he is lucky that i was only half-dressed and that my wife was stopping me. i have seen the coward around before. i took the cab's plate number, and will be sending it to the cops, not that they will do anything about it anyways, lazy fucks.

man am i jacked up right now, just wanna throttle the bastard.

Taking the law into your own hands is NEVER a good idea.

You're the one that will end up with a Criminal Record.

Give the cops the info and let them do their job.

Not to mention that criminals these days often carry guns!

I now how you feel though Plyrs... in the heat of the moment (especially if I had a bat close by) I would possibly just react without thinking.

You got off lucky! Next time dial 911 burglary in progress NEVER go to the front door alone and unarmed there's a lot of violent people out there and there could have been more than the one you saw.
And they know where you live!

LMFAO! I love these statements. Even if you were fully dressed and your wife was cheering you on, you wouldnt have done anything. You probably would have hurled insults and then scurried back to the safety of your hole when challenged by him. Easy tough guy.

This thread need some pictures.

If criminals know that their pictures will be posted on the internet, they might think twice before committing a crime.

Thanks for the thread!

Yup, I'd have called the cops immediately and given them the cab's plate number.

They might not do anything now but last night? It would have been simple to stop the cab.

i have given the plate number to the cops, but do not hold much faith anything will be done. nothing was taken, nothing was done, as i saw and stopped this before anything happened.

i will say to those of you who say i should of stayed inside...if you saw someone trying to steal your possessions, would you be able to remain calm? adrenaline takes over, and does cloud better judgement. yes, i could have put myself in danger, but no one will attempt to steal anything from me, and expect me to just sit there and get fucked over and take it.

on my way home today, was thinking the very same thing. i should have grabbed my camera, knocked on the window and snapped pics of him when he looked up. that would have been awesome...too bad i didnt think of it at that precise moment.

LOL, what exactly does your reply to my post mean?

To me your racist comment means you're ignorant and probably need to get your teeth kicked in. If i was really mexican/cuban i would have taken that personaly.

I never once said i would do it. I was just pointing out the fact that you're the tough guy. You're so quick to jump to conclusions and flare your temper, which only confirms my point.

LOL...still laughing at the if "i wasnt half dressed and the wife holding me back" line. *giggle*

PS: You're such a player.

If your attitude is that the cops will do nothing, then they might please you.

But if you talk to the cops nicely, get the name of the officer that will follow up and keep nagging every week until they let you know what the cab company has to say about the driver and the pictures from the car, then you might get some satisfaction.

In some jurisdictions (Ottawa, for example), the pics from the cab are not "ready fodder" for the police. And, while I am not a lawyer, I doubt that a claim of attempted burglary would stand up for a warrant to obtain the pics. (And for all any of us knows, the guy might have told the cabbie some story, maybe that it was his vehicle - then gotten back in claiming to have forgotten his keys.)

But this fellow surely will know that should anything happen in the near future, he's going to be an identifiable suspect, even without those cab photos.
