I got the impression that Tarnasky and his group wanted to play through and this guy wouldn't let them.
He said something like "...why don't you play behind us, you can take as long as you want..."
That would have solved everything.
I'll bet anything this was building up over a few holes.

My experience with hockey tough guys is that off the ice they are really nice guys, but they're also really tough guys and if you're going to wanna fight one of them you better be ready and can handle it. This other guy wasn't.

The guy came running at Tarnasky and he just defended himself... He threw him around a few times he could've just held him and kept pounding away... the guy kept coming back to him.

Tarnasky didn't have to punch the guy he posed no imminent threat. Once he threw him down the first time with ease he knew he could have his way with him. You allowed to use reasonable force. Those right hands he threw didn't have to be thrown..Plus the little guy is drunk. There is no honor in beating up drunks.

Just my 2 cents.

By all means knock yourself out. Obviously you don't mind paying the tax to subsidize them. Not to mention golf courses are water hogs, your utility bill isn't going down soon. Green spaces should be used by all not just rich assholes.
