A woman's right to security of person, to control her own body, is a more fundamental right than the prohibition on discrimination. There are lots of cases where rights come into conflict. The human rights code is important, but in this case trumped by an even more fundamental right.

In fact security of person has already been judged a superior right to another persons right to life! Damn skippy it's superior to the right not to be discriminated against.

No Canadian judge is ever going to order a woman to have sex against her will. That would literally be court ordered rape and it is never going to happen.

I think we need to split the difference on this one people. Perhaps something like this........
The SP has the right due to intimacy of the act to refuse service to anyone she chooses, and to advertise this fact most likely to reduce wasted time with potential clients
The SP does not have the right not to called a bigot for her actions. And for potential clients who fall within her race range to refuse to see her on ethical grounds. And for said offended persons to publicly state on forums such as this their disgust at her bigotry, to encourage others not to see her as well.

At the end of the day the SP is discriminating based on race...or is that colour (oh boy, that outdated term 'coloured'). Call it what you will; it is a _________ practice. Whether or not she has the right to do it or not is moot. The fact is - it is what it is. I'd simply move on if I were the 'potential client'. Why bother? Find a more open-minded provider. There are plenty about.

If she'd rather share her body with someone belonging to the race/colour/ethnicity she 'likes' to see, and who looks generally very very unattractive (ok, let's say: ugly) let her be. This goes for the SPs (and porn stars too) who come with the very lame line "I'm not attracted this and that [race/ethnicity]." I'm pretty sure that she's not the least of all attracted to MANY of the clients she sees (performers she works with...for the porn stars).
