I agree with this except for your last sentence. Trump in reality, isn't controlled by anyone except greed. He only does what he believes will benefit him in the end and is willing to throw anyone under the bus who he sees as a threat or whom he deems no longer useful. Albeit if he feels the individual never betrayed him, he will come to their aid if possible....i.e., pardons, well paying positions, etc.

Nope, I disagree. He lets American interest take third to Himself first, and his family second. It's all about lining the Trump family's pockets well after he's gone to meet his maker. Who just happens to reside below ground and not above the clouds, and I'm not religious, but in Trump's case, he's heading down far, far below with flames and pointy objects all around him.

trump - everything for himself
Netanyahu - has enough dirt on or Adelson cash that he is willing to be repeatedly publicly humiliated and still back him. Though the Qatar attack was the first time he pushed back.
Putin - is losing power over trump. The body language at Helsinki showed up a bit at the Alaska meeting but trump is still trying to play both sides between Ukraine and Russia. Like he knows that if he goes too far as Russian stooge he might lose MAGA.
America - they get nothing.
Family - they get to steal what they can
I believe Trump had everything to do with Jared cashing in and Trump was given and still receives pieces of the pie. I believe he despises Melania as she does him but they both need one another so it works. I also think they have an open marriage and at this point, she doesn't care who he gets his little tiny hands on as long as he's not touching her.
I will add that he wants the best for his kids and family. I do not like the man since he became Prez but I will always call it as I see it. Ivanka is his favorite and that is obvious, but he has made sure they will always be among the richest families after he's long gone. How he does it can be argued as being a con, a sleazeball, a grifter but he will reach the goal and win the game within the remainder of his miserable life.

You could well be right here. I think there was a time when he had Ivanka and Jared with him during his first run that looked more like he was backing the family. But since then the family seems to be totally operating on their own. They don't seem to be around or in photos at the golf course or public events. But we won't really know for sure until he's gone and how much and what kind of infighting happens over his estate.
Much of the trump thing is so outrageous that in a Shakespeare reference, nobody would have believed it to be true if written as movie/story/play.
Nothing trump does is for free or for goodwill, so you have to ask why he is bending over backwards for Netanyahu and/or AIPAC or Adelson. The two most obvious options are cash or Netanyahu holds some kind of Epstein like dirt as power. The only other option I could suggest is that maybe trump wants to import Israeli police state tactics and tools for some kind of Palantir fascist rule. They all sound like conspiracy theory except that trump called out Adelson's cash publicly, congress is shut so the Epstein files don't come out and Palantir is taking over ICE and domestic control.
But if trump is really souring on Putin he'd just send him tomahawks and a few other tools that could shut down the Russian economy. As it is, Ukrainian drones are getting close to screwing over Russian oil infrastructure. Without that they are in major trouble.
There are no scraps going to americans, nothing. No infrastructure, no services and tariffs are costing them more and screwing over international trade and standings.
The only people making bank are Elon class.
