Looks like Queen has found a replacement......Oh my......He was a good frontman, but he is one of the greatest singers of all time.
What range!

Steph
It's a great movie for anyone who hasn't seen it….. will see him with Journey this summer!Arnel Pineda is better than Steve Perry.
+1As someone who grew up in the 90s I'm sorry man, I have to disagree. I liked Nirvana a lot but Kurt Cobain spawned a generation of guys staring at their sneakers onstage (hell, Eddie Vedder moved around more than him and that should tell you something). He did NOT have a presence. Creative songwriter for sure and a distinct voice, which can often trump pure vocal talent, but he is not in the pantheon of legendary frontmen.
+ One. I was surprised to hear anyone who has seen recorded performances of Queen even think of Cobain. Maybe we should reconsider Gordon Lightfoot. As someone who grew up in the 90s I'm sorry man, I have to disagree. Without a doubt....Freddie Mercury.
Arguably, Bono.
Freddie had the vocal range and power that Bono never had, but Bono has this religious ferver to his performances that Freddie never had.
Both are head and shoulders above the rest.
But greatest concert I have ever seen would probably go to Roger Waters - "The Wall". (Go figure.)
Thank you. It is downright criminal imo to not have these two mentioned in the first page, especially MJ. He was perfection on stage.Prince and Michael Jackson have to on this list....
My ex-wife dragged me to that concert under protest, I was blow away by how talented he was - we had fantastic seats, he was incredible, a pedophile, but an incredible talent.Thank you. Brad Delp had a great voice but no showmanship. He's one of those faceless singers who wouldn't be recognized on the street. He wasn't even leader of the band.IMHO, I'd take Daltrey and Brad Delp.
I've been really missing Brad Delp these last few days. My iPod keeps picking Boston tracks, and the band that was my first "Favorite Band of All" has had the music ruined by his suicide for me.
You lucky son of a bitch !My ex-wife dragged me to that concert under protest, I was blow away by how talented he was - we had fantastic seats, he was incredible, a pedophile, but an incredible talent.
Your short elite list is still too long Here's my list:Indeed.
A very elite fraternity.
Morrison.
Jagger
Mercury.
Bowie (with 'Tin Machine')
Bono.
Hutchence.
Fher.
Tyler.
A very short and elite list.
i guess you forgive him for "bungle in the jungle"..lol..I've seen Tull live and I was so impressed with his ability to play the flute while performing a stage show like that ... the man is amazingly energetic and talented... and he's gettin up there too!
