I respectfully disagree. In my three years here, I've noticed that some of the agencies come and go very quickly and post a lot of fake info., but your statement, at least in my experience, is an overgeneralization. I have a a series of very good experiences with Ottawa Play Girls ... Tracey is very responsive during her business hours, and I have had good to great experiences with the ladies there. My one experience with PK was good as well, with very good communication, although I didn't really hit it off with the lady I was with, she was just as advertised.

Also, some of the agencies sending ladies to Ottawa, such as Garden of Eden and French Kiss Society, do a great job as well.

On the few times I have had to cancel, its always for business reasons and I always do so at least 24 hours in advance. One time I even offered to pay notwithstanding the cancellation ... the lady declined, but really apprecaited the offer.

No shows are going to happen for whatever reason. I've expereinced many whether it was travelling to an incall location or the Lady is arriving at my location. I even had once where a different lady was sent.(The original lady got sick at the last minute or something to that effect)

Yes, but do you actually book appointments with your back up plans? If so, then you are contributing to the problem.

I know both clients and SPs sometimes have a plan A and a plan B, etc. Clients book with more than one lady in case the first one cancels and SPs might double-book (I've never done this) for the same reason. It creates a vicious cycle of people cancelling on each other. If everyone just treated it the same way as say, a dental or doctor's appt. then there would be much fewer no-shows and people would become less jaded. But in this biz, I don't think that's ever going to happen.

I agree, it's more than frustrating. No shows can put us in a bad mood for the rest of the day.
I have experienced this 1 time too many. As I am mostly incall based, I do ask for the client to call me when he arrives into the lobby or when he is close by. So, if I booked an appointment at 11:00 and the client is not there by 11:15 and I get another call of someone who would like an appointment, I give it to the next person who calls. If you do not have the courtesy to call me and tell me you will be late, I can consider it a no-show. And, this can be frustrating to those who show up late and call and expect me to answer. But, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT!!??

It happened once that I had booked an appointment and the client had asked me to where my corset, with my stockings and the whole kit.(it takes more time to get ready) At about 15 minutes late, I decided to give him a call. He answered the phone saying "yeah, I'm here, what room number is it again?" Now lets keep in mind that he hadn't called me previously to get the room number. And when he heard my voice and realized that it wasn't the SP that he was going to see, he hung up on me.

Another time, I had a client call me on my phone, I gave him all the infos he requested and booked an appointment for that afternoon. I was working with a friend at the time, and she received a call, not even 5 minutes later, from the same phone number....asking the same questions. And trying to book an appointment. I don't get it....How do people have so much time to waste? and I barely find the time to eat in between answering phones, e-mails, getting ready, and trying to sleep....

I honestly believe that some clients call to all the ads they see on CL or wherever and try to get the best deal....More for their money, I guess is what it is...

Never. Fortunately, Plan B only materializes once Plan A fails. Drove to Kingston for a date only to be stood up -- Continued on my evening to Ottawa and was able to set a date with PK with very little notice.

Never have understood why there are so many no shows/no calls. Is it really that difficult to pick up a phone and call 30 min to an hour in advance if something comes up and cancel to give the SP notice so she has time to try to book someone else. It's just a matter of respect, I would hope she would do the same for me. I can understand some cases of people not being able to call that much in advance or not being able to call at all, but there is an abundance of them. And even in those cases where people absolutely can't call, an explanation later or when you can still isn't that complicated. Shit happens, but common courtesy shouldn't be thrown out the window because of it.

It can happen for both parties. I was going to be in Ottawa on a certain date and I found someone to give me a good massage session. It was all arranged the night before and when I got off the plane the next morning I took a cab directly to her place. I got out of the cab, paid the driver and as he was driving away I got a text message saying she had to cancel because the food she had the night before was not staying down. (maybe she saw me from her apartment window:>) Anyway, after I texted her back to say I hope she felt better later, I had to call another cab to take me to my hotel. I got lucky later on though because I was able to hook up with someone else after hitting the web. Sometimes things happen beyond our control...
