I get around.
Dealmaker Trump has already tweeted that its all China's fault, that China should have dealt with them years ago.
Such a diplomat!
JFC, just saw the tweets. Never thought I'd nostalgically look back at Bush and Cheney as reasonable, responsible White House administration. :peep:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Defense Department, reacting to North Korea's statement that it plans to test an intercontinental ballistic missile, said on Tuesday it was confident in its ability to protect U.S. allies and the U.S. homeland from threats from Pyongyang.

"We have a ballistic missile defense ... umbrella that we're confident in for the region and to protect the United States homeland," Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook told a news briefing two days after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said his country was close to testing an ICBM.

South Koreans seem to think he's on the right path...

"Won't happen" seems pretty clear.

Of course ! Everyone knows Trump's weakness, he's a narcissist buffoon who is looking out for his own gains. Considering this trait and his request to the Brazilian PM for intervention in a Trump hotel zoning dispute or the British PM on wind generators in view of his Scottish golf course, I'm guessing they will suggest he is a genius and that they wish they could have more Trump Hotels in South Korea at which Trump dutifully passes the receiver to Ivanka.

China doesn't want to deal with them, otherwise they would have millions of refugees landing in china.

This will probably be Donald Trump's first "big test"

I don't think he's equipped to deal with it.
To date no one has, so who knows ? Trump said some good things, Rodman was a friend ... Trump could end up close buddy.

I still can't understand how rumours of bad behaviour get Iraq invaded but actual threats, nuclear detonations and a threat of ICBM attacks doesn't warrant a drone fly over ...

Good point ... North Korea hasn't got any to offer but what if he threatens to take oil away ... maybe we spread a rumour that instead of targeting US populated areas, he will target US controlled oil fields ? That would get the Secretary of State's (an oil man) attention. Maybe then the drone will fly !

Didn't the states just find all kinds of oil?

USGS: Largest oil deposit ever found in U.S. discovered in Texas

The oil is worth around $900 billion at current prices, Bloomberg News reported.
The discovery is nearly three times larger than oil found in 2013 in the Bakken and Three Forks formations in the Williston Basin Province of Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota, according to the USGS.
According to the statement, continuous oil and gas means the resource is dispersed throughout the area, unlike conventional accumulations that exist in one place. Because of the location of the oil and gas, officials will have to use special recovery methods like hydraulic fracturing to recover the resources, according to the USGS.

Fracking oil is uneconomical at these levels.
That is what the Saudi's thought, they were proved wrong - the principle reason why they have now said they are going to cut production, they have given up on the idea of forcing Western Frackers out of the industry.

No, the Saudi's are preparing to move to a post carbon economy and diversifying into international banking.
Had nothing to do with fracking, that's a short term project that's only a few years left a present rates.

That's what they want to invest their petrodollars in.

Their current drive (at OPEC) to reduce production after having helped drive crude oil prices to the very low levels it reached (by refusing to reduce production), is an acknowledgement that they were unsuccessful in driving Western Frackers out of business.

It's also burning through their foreign currency reserve and driving large deficits.
