Of course you can be 100% certain that an SP has no pathogens in her body. All you need to do is compensate her for all her normal income for a week, and have a battery of tests done that look for the generic indicators of infections. Of course you will still need to wear a cover unless you do the same.
Hate to be a downer here, but this isn't true. There is no test for the HPV strains which cause genital warts. They are diagnosed when they happen, via visual inspection. I believe the DNA test you're thinking of only identifies HPV strains that cause cervical cancer. Unless there is something new that I am not aware of...
Original poster: From my experience, sex workers tend to be sexual health experts. They are more knowledgeable, get tested more frequently, and have more safer sex knowledge than the average person.
Now to agree with some of the comments in this thread. There is no such thing as safe sex. But there is SAFER sex. You need to consider your own comfort level, what risks you are willing to take. Lube and condoms are important. Lube helps condoms not break! Not all STDs can be stopped by condoms, herpes and HPV (genital warts) can be spread by skin-to-skin contact. Condoms do not cover the entire genital area. This is why you should avoid putting your uncovered penis on a vagina or anus/between bum cheeks. It surprises me that people assume as long as it's not going inside a pussy or ass, that it's safe.
Lastly, EVERYONE (male and female) that has regular sex with multiple partners should be getting tested! To the older gentlemen on the board, STI tests no longer require the dreaded and painful urethra swab. These days, you just need to pee in a cup. (First stream urine! Pee directly into the cup.)
Hope this post wasn't too serious, I am new here!
