I used to go to a place on the outskirts of Detroit that sold burgers like those. One for the whole family worked well and still has leftovers to take home.

In one of the FHM mags there's an article on the super burgers across the US.
There's a burger big as the tray and loaded with anything you can think of,plus you need a 24 hour notice plus deposit. If finished in one sitting the burger is free.Plus your name will be forever listed as a great eating champ on the burger joint wall.

That burger is great to sit and look at, but bigger is not better when it comes to taste or ease of eating. I'd rather just have a normal sized burger - between 1/4 and 1/2 lb beef patty.

I heard that in Texas, there are diners and restaurants that serve 2 lb (IIRC) burgers, and that if you can eat it, it's free.

That pic is photoshopped, I mean look at the lettuce it's relative in size to the burger, or do they use giant lettuce too? One leaf of lettuce would never cover all that meat.
