You are actually on the side of the powers that be and big oil? What happened to our beloved Big Sleazy?*

Why, you're no better than a government/UN/Corporate shill! You sir, are a disgrace to tinfoil hatters everywhere!

Mind you, I suppose you at least deserve credit for a certain, twisted type of consistency. Granted, on the one issue where hey, the sky actually is falling (albeit verrrry slowly. But still - we be fucked) you are surprisingly on the side of the powers that be and glib oil industry talking points. (and did I mention - wow!) However, you are on this occasion as always - utterly wrong.

Keep up the good work.

*my personal theory is that he was abducted by the alien lizard shape shifting Jews and replaced with a replicant cyborg that spouts random bullshit. The beauty of it is, this could have been done at any time since he started posting and we wouldn't have noticed.

I was going to point out that you actually are taking a BS "source" as something worthy of consideration. I was going to point out that Al Gore made a pile investing in smart meters and other tech/enviro ventures because he's not an idiot. I was also going to point out that Gore's wealth is utterly irrelevant to whether climate change is real or not. Completely. Fucking. Irrelevant. I was also going to point out that if we are going to suddenly call the profit motive into question when discussing issues related to climate change (and personally, I'm not really averse to the ideer), then maybe we could discuss the hundreds of millions spent by oil industry lobbyists to keep admiring the emperor's new clothes while things go from bad to worse. I was going to point out a whole lot of shit.

But instead, I'd just like everyone to skip to around minute 2:52 of the video you linked.

Yeah. "Solar activity caused the fall of Atlantis".

.

Is there something in the water where you and Big Sleazy live?

(oh shit! There's something in the water! Fucking black hats putting motherfucking flouride n shit in that motherfucker in order to make people say nutty shit. It's all a plot to subdue the Sheeple! This will not stand!)

Jesus Christ waitforit, you really subscribe to this kind of unlogic?

Tu motherfucking quoque. It matters NOT ONE FUCKING WHIT whether Al Gore runs over endangered terns with his diesel powered Hummer for shits and giggles, or whether he lives on a mountaintop and eats grubs. Climate change is a real thing, accepted as fact by the overwhelming majority of scientists that study and understand this sort of shit, and most all lay people that are not fucking idiots. An appeal to one proseletyser's personal hypocrisy is absurdly irrelevant. The only thing it reveals is how utterly bankrupt of real arguments the climate change denialists are.

And this is nothing like a corporation asking for a financial benefit while reaping another financial benefit.

But the absolute worst thing about all this is that you are distracting us from the Big Sleazification of my pal Titalian. Did you look at his video? It worries me!

Sadly it isn't just one proseletysers personal hypocrisy not that this proves or disproves anything. However I find it really fucking odd that there are so many people who in the field who actively live life styles that they firmly believe will help put people in a world of shit. It is also a bit disturbing. How can this not bother you. We are not even talking about them living the average carbon lifestyle but going for the extra carbon lifestyle, nowhere near the needs levels. Luxury. Not much different from just running down a kid with your car because you couldn't be bothered to turn the steering wheel.
This doesn't bother you.
So you don't deny that their message of global warming is correct. You are just upset that their lifestyle doesn't match their message.

So now that we agree about global warming the question is how to get a global plan in place.

Not at all, its that their motives are way off, it was all about profiteering . This is a natural occurrence and not man made. Maybe the Mayan were right but off a couple of years.

Man I hate Commies....

And on the lighter side.

… at least from the wording of the title, we can take the small comfort that the deniers are finally recognizing human objectives play a significant role in climate change.

That should upset everyone since it detracts from Gore's credibility and the cause.
