Hey tzahal, I think sweetdaddyc meant that using a 12-gauge shotgun might have been more "adult".

At least that's how I see it...

that would have been the more adult thing to do in retrospect. food for though for next year.

my neighbour gave a couple of the "older kids" an old cassette of 70's songs from burger king that had to be 15 years old. the kid had absolutely no clue what to make of it. and the look on his face when he got back to his buddies was priceless. i was surprised they didnt egg him too.

This would make for a great hidden camera gag. Have a pot-bellied, middle aged man smoking a cigarette show up at someone's door on Halloween. He would maybe be dressed in jeans and a tanktop and hold out a huge garbage bag and ask for candy. When they give him some, he would say something like "Is that all you can spare? I need some more for my wife. " Then at the end he would threaten them if they refused to fill up the bag with other goods.

What do you think?
You been following me around again?

It's just like that one Curb Your Enthusiasm episode if anyone has seen it...Larry freaks out saying they cant just exploit the holidays (occassions, whatever) and I absolutely agreed with him and the above posters!
And remember what happened to Larry when he denied the trick-or-treaters who had no costumes? (I think that's what they were).

That's the problem, you don't know whose kids they are, but they know where you live, so you are vulnerable. I applaud anyone who will turn a hose on brats, I would be afraid my car would get keyed.
