I'm also hoping FIFA decides to drop these ridiculous charges against the teams in question,however,even when the trial was taking place during the WC,which really pissed me off because they could of waited until after the tournament was finished,Italy still managed to fight through all that and capture the title. Yup. If anyone ''disgraced'' themselves,it was Zidane. What a humiliating way to leave the game for the last time. It will be interesting to see what happens on September 6 when France and Italy meet in their Euro Cup qualifying match without Zidane in France's lineup.

You can argue this for ever. The point of the thread, which has been forgotton, is that this player has to be one of the dirtiest players in the history of the game.
There can be no argument that he is only a hard player that does everything to win. He is brutal and after seeing some of the tackles and cheap shots he should not be playing the game.
I say this if he was Italian, German, English or from Iceland..he is risking the careers of others. Having had my own career shortened because of a behind the back tackle to the back of my knee..funnily enough playing an Italian team ( I mean no offense by that, just happens to be the truth )
I can understand the "verbal" part of the game. It will always be part of the game but this guy should be sin die'd..ie banned indefinitley if he continues.
He is a mean son of a bitch and will end someones career, never mind cripple, if not stopped.
There is no room for this in football.

I was responding to the fact that on this particular video you can see deliberate attemts to injure. To the point that it could end a career. The man is an animal and as such should be banned .

2 month suspension.
