Original Sin (Christians) ~ Vs~ Original Goodness( islam)

First, this video assumes that all Christian denominations take a Calvinist approach to the doctrine of Original Sin. Most do not, giving it but marginal emphasis and indeed some do not believe in it at all. The whole point of the Christian religion is to forgive original sin. The video would have been much more interesting if it had representatives from different faiths (Christian, Jewish, Islamic) talking about how their religion vies this question.
It is interesting to hear from Islamic scholars how Islam vies this question, but it is really not very interesting to hear the Islamic scholar version of how Christianity does. I'd have preferred to hear that from a Christian scholar.

Agreed, and as I posted above, if you had clerics from the Russian Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Anglican, Presbyterian traditions as well as representatives from the Society of Friends, and the Mennonites you'd have six different viewpoints on Original Sin.
