Goldberg was trying to say she was all concerned about public health and dancer safety.... then blows/fucks someone for cash but at home instead of the club, seems VERY hypocritical to me.
it is probably because she wants to make cash by doing nothing and is not so much about the fact she does not want to be touched. especially since the fact she blows somebody for cash and she probably charged him ridiculous overpriced rates. it is all about getting the most money for doing the least. imagine if the dancers suceeded in having only one stripclub in ottawa? the girls could charge very high prices and get away with it. it is all in the laws of supply and demand.

I don`t want to mention any names on the board, but I`m positive I know at least one of the Fax girls you`re talking about. I used to be friends with her years ago and she was extremely upset when touching started that management was allowing it. .

A petite girl who one time back in the mid '90s worked at Diamonds?

Yes that's her.

It's when the dancers start complaining that the shit really starts to hit the fan. Remember that disgruntled dancer from Toronto that created the shitstorm a while back? I think she wrote a book or something and the Star had a field day with her..

Almost every time I go to a strip club, some dancer sits beside me and whines about not making enough money, which incidently is a good way to make me not want a dance. I'm certainly not going to pay $20 for an old-style table dance. The most I would spend is $10 and the girl would have to be extremely hot. Otherwise, I'll just have my beer and watch the stage show. I can't see most of the current dancers happy with making $5 to $10 per song. They won't be in the business long if they have to really hustle to make a couple hundred of bucks. This won't work here, and it probably will cause a few establishments in Ottawa to go under as well.

Nope, you are thinking of Sara, whose idea was not taking it all off on stage to inspire interest in $20 dances to see the whole package. Katherine Goldberg's claim was that dancers were being "forced" to dance dirty.... while she was actually a ho serving up take out. I wonder if her rather sucessful crusade was appreciated by her fellow dancers or if they would like to kick her ass because the milage reduction led to guys cutting down on dances and swithing to MPA/SP's.

Actually, many of the clubs in downtown Montreal are non-contact $10 dances. It's the clubs on the outskirts & just off the island that are FS/contact.
That's not true. There's onlt three clubs in Downtown montreal that are non-contact, the rest of the clubs are contact dances. Mind you, most downtown clubs have a "non-grinding" policy but you can still touch the strippers....

Well I was just at an anonymous SC yesterday. Looks like alot a dancers are looking to flood Gatineau. Some are looking forward to the table dance era, but they may have other jobs. Some really think this is just the first part to drive all SC's outta business. Maybe brick and motar businesses in the Sex-trade are out altogther. No "outta sight outta mind" ploitico crap for them.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I am retiring from the SC game as a patron as it's just too expensive. Just can't keep going.

Do they even had viagra for the wallet? Mine went limp on me!! :p
