Its even worst if you have reflux , it takes longer for your stomach to empty and you get more heartburn. My friend didn't lose weight either. But its like viagra when it came out, they lower the price with time.Big Pharma is a curse on humanity. I am on trulicity for the last six years, at $150 to $160 per month. Same class of drug. No weight loss that I noticed in all this time. My brother is on ozempic and it didn’t help him to lose weight. If there is any weight loss, I was told it would be due, for ozempic, to partial stomach paralysis. https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/using-drugs-like-ozempic-for-weight-loss-may-lead-to-stomach-paralysis-pancreatitis#:~:text=Using drugs like Ozempic for, lead to stomach paralysis, pancreatitis&text=There has recently been a,side effects, including stomach paralysis.
I wish that were the case. The price of trulicity has either stayed the same or gone up slightly over the six years I have been taking it. No generic means that they keep the price up. Viagra price was threatened with the generics. Sad to hear about reflux. It is a pain. Its even worst if you have reflux , it takes longer for your stomach to empty and you get more heartburn. My friend didn't lose weight either. But its like viagra when it came out, they lower the price with time.
My understanding is that it works by decreasing your appetite. You won't feel as hungry as often and therefore will eat less often and consume lesser amounts. My friend didn't lose weight either. But its like viagra when it came out, they lower the price with time.
Sorry to hear. I was just trying to make a buck. Seems like there is nothing clean to invest in.Big Pharma is a curse on humanity. I am on trulicity for the last six years, at $150 to $160 per month. If you bought after the commercial that information is already priced in by sharper and more informed minds than you and me.Does she have an opinion on why they have stalled since I bought them? I was hoping for the jackpot after the Opra infomercial. Now not looking so certain.
Posted the same thing before I read this. Great minds think alike I guess.I think that after the infomercial is too late.
The heavy hitters probably already knew that an Oprah commercial was upcoming and pushed the price up rapidly on the potential. Once the commercial came out the market had already adjusted to that potential. I think this happens all the time. By the time Joe Schmoe (us) hears about it the insiders have taken the lion's share of profits by getting the news earlier.
Hey I resemble that remark. The problem is there are people that will eat even when they aren't hungry. They still overeat for other reasons, probably most of which are psychological and could be a reason why some people don't lose.
I actually stumbled upon this stock in October of last year after being subjected to endless commercials on whatever drivel I was watching on TV. I thought to myself. "there might be a buck to be made at this". Every commercial on tv seems to push a new drug for whatever unheard of ailment (to me)that financially is flourishing. Knowing the little I know about the worldwide obesity epidemic, it seemed like a no brainer when the words ozempic and wegovy were drummed into my feeble skull. Now it's going to shit. Warren Buffet I'm not.If you bought after the commercial that information is already priced in by sharper and more informed minds than you and me.
Agreed, however your statement constitutes fat shaming. Not everybody has the will or the ability to be as perfect as you. Off to the ignore list you go.So is Wikipedia.
Various strategies have been proposed to prevent the development of metabolic syndrome. These include increased physical activity (such as walking 30 minutes every day) ] and a healthy, reduced calorie diet. Many studies support the value of a healthy lifestyle as above. However, one study stated these potentially beneficial measures are effective in only a minority of people, primarily because of a lack of compliance with lifestyle and diet changes. The International Obesity Taskforce states that interventions on a sociopolitical level are required to reduce development of the metabolic syndrome in populations.![]()

PTSD and food over consumption appear to be directly linked.Agreed, however your statement constitutes fat shaming. Not everybody has the will or the ability to be as perfect as you. Off to the ignore list you go.
I thought the ingredient in Ozempic was Semaglutide. It actually goes beyond that when you think of things in terms of demand and supply. Novo is in the process of converting some of their facilities away from producing regular insulin (Novolin) so that they can make more Ozempic, putting pressure on Novolin availability, especially in some export markets where it is sold for less. This in turn has had a snowball effect on demand for insulin from Lily and Sanofi. Lily also has a product to compete with Ozempic which is supposed to be better, so this might actually get worse before it gets better.
That would be expected. So, it’s not just a matter of getting one’s ass around the block and back.PTSD and food over consumption appear to be directly linked.
Not your fault. Don’t feel so bad.Sorry to hear. I was just trying to make a buck. Seems like there is nothing clean to invest in.
Bottom line is Ozempic is a great drug for diabetics. Forget about weight loss, it is a secondary medication. Would you prefer to stab yourself twice a day with insulin or ONCE A WEEK WITH OZEMPIC.It was a joke. If I have to explain it ...
As for being perfect, this is TERB. I'm as fucked as everyone else here.
I'm of the opinion that any medication that can control blood sugar should be of minimal charge to patients. Maybe covered for low income people...It will save money in the long run.Bottom line is Ozempic is a great drug for diabetics. Forget about weight loss, it is a secondary medication.
