One last time: the scandal isn't just about some senators (3 out of 4 conservative, for jackasses who want to keep score by the way) who are scamming their expense accounts, it is about the motherfucking PMO trying to buy silence on the issue and then lying about it.

Maybe if your pal Harper tried some incredibly shady shit to salvage Harb's reputation as well and then throw him under the bus, there'd be even more coverage. But until then, the fact that Harper was in on the attempted cover-up up to his neck and then lied to Canadians about it makes the Duffy part of the whole affair a tad more newsworthy, regardless of whether Harb fudged his expense claims for a few thousand more than Duffy did.

Of course it is. It doesn`t matter that only 13 percent of Canadians believe Harper when he said he had no knowledge of the Duffy payoff (IPSOS REID). We`re a fickle lot we Canadians, with a shit attention span. We`ve already forgotten that the feds spent 2 billion (2 Billion!) on the G20 weekend detaining peaceful protesters and padding pockets in Conservative ridings. Not to mention the F35 shitshow, with all the lies and the tens of billions extra that one will cost us in the end. The numerous cases of election fraud don`t even register as a blip. So don`t worry. Even if some people do end up remembering that Harper tried to bail out a scamming hack and then lied about it, he`ll probably once again get another overwhelming majority with all of 24% of eligible voters supporting him.

With Wallin, what strikes me as suspicious is the amount of money. $140K is alot of money.
I can understand her putting through a few "questionable" expenses and not following up,
but $140K? Would a reasonable person not have followed up?
Now that I am writing this, I guess a reasonable person might also take the stance that it is such
a large amount, surely the accountants or whomever approves the expenses would have brought
it to my attention by now.
