Yah know what I hate? People who sit on domain names hoping to make a buck for nothing. People who snatch up other people's domain names if they don't reregister them in time only to sit on them or use them for spam. People who buy a domain very similar to yours hoping to snag traffic for their bullshit spam webpage (even adding in keywords off your site to theirs hoping to get google hits).

These people should be in a real life SAW (as in shackled in a room with a rusty hacksaw).

well, they are bad, but IMO spammers are far far worse.

I honestly think that spamming ought to be enacted into international law as a corporate crime punishable by up to 10 yrs in a turkish prison.

Just think of all the bandwidth these idiots use and all the money spent on spam filters, apps, etc.

Can you imagine being a spammer? Going through life that 99.9% of the world would like to see you beheaded?

Outta curiosity,do spammers even make any money? Anyone got stories (confessions) to share on that?

I'm having some trouble with "jerk" bidders on Ebay.

They bid on something with no real interest in buying the item. It just drives the price up.

I suppose it's not as bad as if they're for real, and they end up winning.

yes they do....from advertisers that hire them to flog their product...this is junk mail or telemarketers gone beserk.....

What is even scarier is that there are actually enough buyers out there that actually BUY their shit....which keeps them spamming more.....

What I do is if I suspect a phantom bidder I will check and see how many items they've actually won, and if they have a long relationship with the seller. IF you find this you can lodge a complaint with ebay and they will ban the seller and bidder via their isp information.

In fact, last year, someone was caught doing this on a vehicle purchase and not only was the seller forced to take the vehicle back and return the money but they were charged with fraud and I believe the fine was $5 or $10 grand...

Correct me if im wrong, but before the auctions end cant you always cancel certain bidders? At the least you can set parameters like must have a rating of 10 or something....
