Why not park near a subway station--where ever best for you and take the sub over to Bloor&Yonge?

Heck when I travel to Toronto I come in now off the 401 and park by Elenigon (not spelled right) and me and my luggage goes by subway to the stop nearest the hotel I'm at and I just forget about my car. I used to come in the QWE but traffic goes so slow and I never use my car anyways--in by bus is best but slow.
It's Eglington.

You should try the QEW now with the HOV lanes it's faster. I just don't know why the HOV lanes aren't all the way into TO except where they can't widen the road.

Well HOV lanes are new--they are being phased in. Not everybody will obey traffic laws, by Toronto there are lots of exits and people could abuse those lanes and I found with driving its "monkey see--monkey do" So if one dude goes solo in a HOV lane others might follow and all those exits makes it tougher to enforce. (that is my guess)

BTW I am very against those HOV lanes, makes little sense why everybody should help pay for them but everybody can not use them. Michigan is so cool--a few years ago a few cities put up HOV signs but with its just a suggestion--not the law. Turns out HOV lanes are illegal based on our state constitution and the state police made the cities take the signs down. We have no drunk driving check points either--that is illegal also--(police need a good reason to stop you) other states have all this but not cool Michigan--now if we could just get some jobs over here, lol

Oh we have no front license plates either...cars look prettier without them is the reason.

Yes S.C. Joe you're right. There are some pretty decent SPs in NF for 190/hr. But let's just say for professional reasons I really don't feel comfortable using the agencies in the city I live in. NF is a pretty small place. So I'm willing to travel a little bit further to pursue my Hobby. Also the choice in T.O. is just so much better.

Oh cheating are U, lol

Yeah its a small town and word can easily get around. Yeah some days/weeks it can be very limited in the Falls. They say open til 4am but I've called 1:30am and no answer or only one middle age gal available--really stinks when U think in Toronto it be prime time.

Its easy to spot the SP in the Falls---the young lady by herself walking fast through the hotel lobby right to the elevator is how I noticed them...and like the lobby might be pretty busy with out of town tourist and nobody seems to notice her. I like giving them a quick smile before the elevator door closes.....this was in the old days a few years back mid summer, things are hurting now and they are a rare sight in 4 star hotels--guess for NYE it might be busy?

Nor a downtown girl (because he can't find parking). LOL Is Yorkville considered downtown or midtown?
Downtown. Y&E is midtown. In my mind the hill up to St. Clair is the divide.

I figure the natural borders of the old city of Toronto are the lake, the Don river, the escarpment, and Garrison Creek. Garrison Creek's long since been buried but the system of parks along its course, from Christie Pits down through Trinity-Bellwoods, mark off the edge of downtown to me.
