Parking tickets are one of the most annoying things a city can inflict on a citizen. Especially with the snow coming, curbs, parking signs, and designated parking areas are hard to spot. There is really no point in disputting a traffic ticket. Although most of the time the ticketing officer won't show up, but you are better off just paying because it will cost you the same amount of money to appear in court. You will have to take time off work, pay for parking, and that alone would cost more then the ticket amount. Word to the wise, just pay it, and stop parking illegally.

Don't get me wrong, I use to park all over the city in illegal spaces, but in the end it just works out to be more practical to pay the meter or lot prices oppose to the hassle of parking tickets.

Or do what I do...Valet that shit...LOL :D

Back in my courier driving days...

I use to dispute parking tickets and win every time. But I had the advantage of cartage license. I would just bring the ticket to the police headquarters on College St where the parking authority has their office. I show them my cartage license and a waybill saying I was making a delivery and they would cancel my tickets. I don’t know if a regular citizen can do that or not. I am thinking though that if you brought your ticket into them and had a good excuse they might. Somehow I doubt it… but stranger things have happened.

Well I'm talking back in late '80s. Back then if I remember correct it was $25.

You'll also need to hit up some courier driver for a handfull of blank waybills. Then all you do everytime you get a ticket is fill out the waybill saying that you were making a delivery at the address most near to where ever it is you got the ticket. Good luck. I hope it works out for you. :D

that's not how it works anymore.
You can set a date and dispute but unless you have photos for signage and other evidence, if the "officer" or "ticket bitch" comes, you're screwed.
Just pay the fuckin 15 bucks esco!

There is free parking around Regent Park. :D You can park there but not guaranteed your car will still be there.

Yep.

Professional skills developed and honed over the years... you have to know your way 'round!

But I don't come cheap [seems to be my problem with this hobby, too!]: $500 per ticket. Just send the ticket to me with your certified cheque for $500 and you can rest at ease and forget all about it. ;)

And, of course, park as often as you want!

In the spirit of the season, until the end of this year, two for the price of one!

On a street that ran off Bay around where Health International was, I noticed that more then half the cars had handicap parking tags (I did count them), and with those tags it seems that you don’t have to pay for parking at all. So, in the future, find out where people are buying these tags, and use them as many others are.

It would be easier to just somehow buy the tag :) Saw the same cars there every day, parked all day. Doubt these tags are being used legitimately. These cars were parked at city metered parking spots
