She's West Indian EI.
Apparently very smart but a history of spotty underemployment and was last seen talking to herself for hours at a Starbucks.

"I'm mad as hell and I'm not taking it anymore!"
Where do you see the report that she was seen talking to herself? Just curious to read that. It does seem like a mental case.

Suspect in unprovoked stabbing has 'impressive resume'

It is an unprovoked attack which means there is no
motive behind the stabbing. Very unlikely she will be convicted of anything if it is up to the prosecutor to
prove she was sane at the time of stabbing.

A woman accused of an unprovoked stabbing at a downtown drug store has a master's degree and an "impressive" resume, her lawyer said outside a Toronto courthouse, arguing that his client should be granted bail at a future hearing.

Rohinie Bisesar, 40, is facing charges in connection with what police are calling an unprovoked stabbing.

The stabbing occurred on Friday afternoon at a Shoppers Drug Mart, located underground at 66 Wellington St., near Bay Street. The store is part of Toronto's PATH, an underground pedestrian walkway linking 30 kilometres of stores.

Investigators said the woman went into the store and stabbed another woman, "without provocation."

Bisesar has been charged with attempted murder. She has also been charged with aggravated assault and carrying a concealed weapon.

Bisesar's lawyer Calvin Barry, who was retained by his client last night, said the woman has an "impressive resume," including a Master of Business Administration. He said she has lots of friends who said the allegations are not in her character.

"People have commented that they're shocked and taken aback by this, and this is not her demeanour," Barry told reporters as he left a court appearance Wednesday.

He said he hasn't had much time to get to know his client, but that she seemed upset by the attention from the media.

"She's been basically a deer in the headlights because it's all happening so quickly."

However, he said police have told him that she's co-operating with their investigation.

Bisesar is expected to return to court on Friday, after police and the Crown have had time to gather evidence.

He said the Crown will contest grounds for bail, arguing that his client may flee the jurisdiction or commit further offences. The Crown will also argue that she shouldn't be released because the allegations "are just so horrific," he said.

Barry said he will argue that his client should be granted bail, with a series of conditions to protect the public and to ensure that she returns to court. He said she has no prior criminal record or outstanding charges.

"We'll have to take it one step at a time and we'll have a lot more information...on Friday when we return," he said.

The victim of the stabbing is still in hospital in "grave condition," police said.

If you followed the news, you would find out that she is well educated with a MBA degree from York. She worked in the financial district with a well paid job at one point. Then, the bottom fell out on her I guess due to job related stress? It is sad that ppl can discard their employees like a piece of s** when the employee failed. Even though she failed due to her mental illness, imho.
Such a young woman go to waste!

More importantly, how is the victim? I feel sorry for her. What a senseless act.

I'm betting her lawyer will end up arguing she's not guilty by reason of mental illness and will end up getting a slap on the wrist while her victims life has been ruined, if she survives that is.

GAWD....she looks very familiar for some reason...like an adult worker or something similar? Like I've seen her face somewhere before or a look alike...she has a nice face.

I don't know why but its so sad when women like this with a good education go mad and get or progress with a mental illness.

No way should she get bail. Reports are that she was sometimes seen in the financial area sitting and talking to herself. Sad for her and whatever when wrong, very sad for the victim.

It depends... if they have solid evidence (witnesses, film)then she does not get bail. If the evidence is circumstantial at best then she's definitely going to be granted bail. Call me crazy but I would really like to hit that. Sexy spinner that's bat-shit crazy. Quite the adventure in bed no doubt.

The girl for the past 4 years has been slipping down a bad slope of mental illness. Every report in the news and by people who seen her every day, ex co-workers and from friends say she progressively got worse and nobody helped her? This in itself is a tragedy. She obviously suffers from schizophrenia, no wonder someone as bright as her could not keep a job. My heart goes out to the victim but I hope she gets a maximum security mental hospital. This woman is mentally ill.

Yeah definitely looks like her family even shunned her...if true they should be ashamed of themselves...

A friend of Bisesar told the National Post that she had a tough time trying to get a steady job and that her mental health had deteriorated over the past several years. She was hospitalized in 2014. She was estranged from her family and seemed increasingly paranoid...

Many people suffer from mental illnesses and some do it silently, and the best we can do is maybe try to be nice to them. It is so easy to pile on, or just treat them as weirdos or just ignore. Sometimes it is hard when they try to hurt you or see you as their enemy however, sometimes a little love goes a long way to help them. It is sad that everyone gave up on her and that she could not find the help.

This may work in favor for officer Forcillo. I mean shooting a crazy person with a knife could have prevented a stabbing. But shooting them 7 or 8 more times on the ground is crazier.

...Gutowski’s confirmed that the email address is authentic and that Bisesar had been using it Tuesday. But the Post could not independently confirm that the message came from her.

The email opens with a plea:

“Do you know any top professionals in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, nanotechnology, satellites?” it said. “Maybe Military. Maybe Government?

“Something has been happening to me and this is not my normal self and I would like to know who and why this is happening. There is either a single person or more responsible and who and why would be nice to know.”

It then goes on to address the stabbing.

“I am sorry about the incidence,” the email said. “I felt the need to be extreme to see if it would work. I would normally not do such a thing.”

Gutowski said Bisesar’s successful friends helped her through years of unemployment, letting her sleep on their couches or lending her money.

“She’s been able to sustain herself from a large network of friends,” he said. “I speculate the list got shorter and shorter.”

Her only real break came in 2010 when she landed a job at GMP Capital, a financial services firm with an office on King Street West, he said. But her employment there only lasted about eight months.

“She got that one job, but she didn’t get to keep it for too long,” Gutowski said. “She couldn’t adjust to pretty normal office politics.”...

From the quote directly above I really doubt it was her because such a well-educated woman would clearly know the difference between "incidence" and "incident".

However, if it is her perhaps her other personality is Alex Parrish (played by Priyanka Chopra) in the television series Quantico.

Mental illness is such a devastating condition mostly due to the lack of empathy those who suffer from it get from everyone else.

Reading this post from the sun really brings her struggles to light and how tough she had it....

On one website, someone who claims to be a former co-worker said Bisesar “thought people were going through her purse and ‘hacking’ into her computer.”

A waitress at the Ritz-Carlton wrote on a message board that Bisesar would come in at 6 a.m. — well dressed with full makeup — and not leave the restaurant until after 4 p.m., sometimes falling asleep at the table.

“I thought maybe she was just trying to meet a rich guy until one day she ordered a meal and only ate half the egg and came the next day with the same egg and asked if we could warm it up for her,” she wrote. “I struck up a convo with her once and she told me she was estranged from her family. This whole thing is odd and she is the oddest person I ever met.”

"Next day she asked if we could warm it up for her"...really, fuck if this is for real she must have been really struggling, hungry, and trying to maintain. Add mental illness to the equation and its just a downward spiral.

I always believe that stuff like this can be prevented, and if you call your self a friend it is your duty to do what you can and try and help them.

SPing could have been an answer for her is she was this desperate for money...how many more people are out there struggling like this.
