pdadb.net - A good source for various pda/ppc models out there.
There are lots of appz for Windows based OS ( WM5 or WM6).
PocketCM seems to be a popular contact manager. I use the default WM6 contact manager

If you like the HTC Tytn, then get the newer version i.e HTC Tytn II ( P4550/kaiser). Rogers will carry this before the year end or you could grab one from Ebay or online retailers.

I personally use HTC P3300 ( Artemis) and love the compact size of it.

If budget is an issue, I would get any mid-level pda such as Eten X500+, Eten M700, HTC tytn, HTC P3300. They range about $500-600 USD. Try to get a pda with the Samsung 400Mhz proc. The OMAP 201Mhz processors are a bit on the slow side unless you overclock it.

EDIT: My bad leeyah, the HTC P6800 ( Mogul) which is the CDMA version. I mistakenly took it as tytn based on the pics

I've had a Pam Treo for a few years (upgraded 3 times so far) and with the proper software, the Palm Treo can definitely do what you are looking at doing. I've seen a few software programs on the PalmOS that does what you are looking for but since I don't need to create memos after a call is completed, I haven't really investigated or installed any of these programs.

I've been using the palm system for years now. It orks great is easy to use etc. However, I am about to switch to a Blackberry curve...I'm hoping I am not wasting my money by switching from palm, but a lot of my business associates use the blackberry and love them. we'll see.
