Does anyone know of a peer2peer program that doesn't cost anything and doesn't send your personal info to third parties??

I had Kazza lite but it seems that you have to pay for it now.

P2P is dead! Bittorent is the only way to go now. Faster DL speeds, no spyware or adware & little threat of viruses.

Google "bittorrent" to find more info about clients and websites. I use ABC Bittorent Client - http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net/

Kazaa Lite K++

Been using this p2p with no problems or spyware. It's a nice upgrade to Kazaa Lite but I hear they are charging for it now. I got it back when it was a free download. There are probably places you can still get it for free if you hunt around on the web. Also have WinMx, but don't really use either that much anymore as in the past.
