This posting is long and rambling. If you are only interested in the short version, here it is. There was a lot of confusion when I booked an appointment, and when I showed up things were unpleasant, so I will probably not return. If you want the details, continue reading.

Last week I went to see Sandy (review here: https://terb.cc/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=169515&highlight=sandy)

While I was visiting her, she mentioned that a number of other girls work out of the same location.

Well today I was in the neigborhood and thought I would try out one of those other girls. So I gave the place a call. Here is the conversation that followed.

Receptionist (R): Hi.
Me (M): Hello. Could you tell me which girls are working there this evening.
R: Rilley, Sandy, & Tanya are all available this evening.
M: OK. I`m interested in a girl who likes XXXX. Is there anyone there who does that?
R: Ya, Sandy does that.
M: Alright, there`s something else I`m looking for. Is there anyone there who is into YYYY?
R: What is YYYY?
M: It means the same thing as ZZZZ.
R: Um, just a second. [Long pause while she, presumably gets out her escort dictionary to find out what ZZZZ means. She must be new to the business.]
R: Oh, I see. Well, um, that might be possible. I`m not sure, but I think you would be able to do that with Sandy. You`d have to discuss it with her though.
M: OK, well what about you? Do you also work there?
R: Yes, I do. And I also offer XXXX.
M: Oh, then how come you didn`t mention yourself early when I asked about XXXX?
R: Well, when we answer the phone we aren`t suposed to offer our own services. But if you`re interested, then you do XXXX with me. And I`d also be willing to give the YYYY a try as well.
M: OK great, let`s meet. How about 6:30.
R: Sure, see you then.

I get there at 6:30 for my appointment, and am greeted at the door by Sandy.

S: Oh, I remember you. I didn`t realise this appointment was with you.
M: Oh, well its nice to see you. I believe my appointment today is with your colleague.
S: Uhm, huh?
M: My appointment is with the girl I talked to on the phone.
S: That was me you talked to on the phone.
M: But, the person on the phone didn`t say her name was Sandy. And she kept talking about Sandy in the third person.
S: Well, you said you wanted XXXX, and I`m the only one who does that. I told you that on the phone.
M: Well not exactly, you said that you AND Sandy were the only ones who do XXXX.
S: No, I`m Sandy.

Clearly we misunderstood each other on the phone. But given that she kept refering to "sandy" in the third person, I hardly think I can be blamed for assuming I was talking to someone other than Sandy. Anyway, the conversation continued.

M: Well, sorry about the confusion. But I thought I was making an appointment with someone else.
S: Oh, that`s OK. We have another girl here tonight. She should be on her way up right now. In fact, I thought it was her when you buzzed in. She doesn`t do XXXX, but maybe you can talk to her about what she does and you guys can figure something out.
M: OK, sure.
S: Just wait here, she`ll be here any minute. Make yourself confortable.

She then leaves me by myself in a totally empty room. There`s nothing but a bed, a chair, and a copy of Vanity Fair. I can either read the magazine, or stare blankly at the wall. I choose the latter.

After waiting 10 minutes, I hear her on the phone talking. She pokes her head into the room and tells me that the girl will be up in five minutes.

Another 10 minutes go by and I hear her on the phone again, talking in a rather angry tone. She then tells me the girl is almost here. At this point, I`m so bored I start reading Vanity Fair.

10 minutes later, the phone rings and I`m told the girl is on her way up. When she arrives, Sandy comes back into the room and tells me she`s here. Would I mind waiting another 10 or 15 minutes. Confused and anoyed about why I have to continue waiting now that the girl is here, I ask what`s going on.

The new girls comes into the room and starts giving me a combination lecture / sob storry about how she didn`t know she was going to have to work, and she needs to take off her clothes and have a shower. "see, I`m wearing boots" she says. Her tone is condescending and rude, yet it almost seems like she want`s me to feel sorry for her, at the same time as she`s trying to put me down for no apparent reason.

I agree to wait another ten minues, and I sit back down. Three minutes later, she comes back into the room, and asks if I`d like to take a shower. As I`m in the process of opening my mouth to say no thanks, she adds that she would like me to take a shower. "I require that of all my clients" she says.

This attitude is not helping my mood any, and we still haven`t discussed the session. I figure I need to find out what I`m getting into here, before I get any deeper into it. So me & new girl (N) have a litle chat:

M: Maybe before I get in the shower we should have a discussion about what we`re going to do.
N: What do you mean?
M: Well we could discuss what sort of services will be included.
N: It`s full service. What`s to discuss?
M: Sandy told me you don`t do XXXX. Is that right?
N: No, I don`t.
M: Well, maybe there are some other things we could do.
N: What do you mean? Like what?
M: Well, how about YYYY? Do you do that?
N: What is that?
[I explain what YYYY means.]
N: No that`s disgusting. That`s very disrespectful. I`m not doing that.

At this point I am totally turned off. If a SP doesn`t want to do X, Y, or Z that`s their choice. But don`t insult me, calling me disgusting, or saying that I`m disrespectful of women just because I enjoy something they don`t like. Not to mention the fact that she`s also insulting her colleague who had already agreed that she would be willing to do these things. Plus, the tone of voice that this girl is using is totally rude, and condescending. She`s acting like a total bitch. I decide to bail. I say "well, thanks very much, but I think I`m going to have to pass today. And I head for the door."

At this point, Sandy comes back in and starts appologizine for the mix up on the phone, but she insists that it really is my fault for not understanding her. She told me that Sandy is the one who does XXXX. And she`s Sandy. So obviously I must have been making an appointment with her. Ya, clearly I`m the one who mixed this whole thing up.

So I left, and that is that.

It is unlikely I will return, although I still might. I actually feel bad for Sandy. She`s seems like a genuinely sweet girl. But I think her business practices leave a great deal to be desired.

Interesting reading. Thanks. There's an agency in Barrie where the phone girl also works, but does not say that up front. But, its common knowledge among regular customers, and if you pick her, she lets you know it was her you were talking to, once she gets to the room.

In your case, given that you had a long conversation with her on the phone, I too would have expected the girl to let you know that she was Sandy, while you were still booking. Kind of odd, but I don't think she was trying to be deceiptful; she probably just thought it was bad form to say "ya I do YYYY" instead of saying the name of the girl. Overall though, I think perhaps your expectations of the agency is too high. These aren't business people or people in the straight service industry who are trained in standard business practices or customer relations. Its just a couple girls working out of their apartment, as opposed to a company with written operating procedures and policies on this and that. Rank amateurs. Bless them though!!

Anyhow, too bad you didn't get laid that night! It would have pissed me off to walk out of a place unserviced. Overall it sounds like a frustrating and bizarre experience, but I get the sense it happens a fair bit in the biz. Did you try anyone else that night?

Quite a story. I wouldn't have lasted that long, If you caught me on the wrong day I would have had time to see there was a vanity fair magazine the room.

As for the phone call thing, It makes sense that they are not supposed to talk about themselves on the phone, otherwise callers would start calling try get some sort of pseudo phone sex.

Probably what happened was that she spoke about Sandy in the thrid person like she was supposed to, but you didn't seem interested. So when you asked about her she saw an opportunity to still get a call. Obviously she didn't think this through since if you weren't interested in sandy there was probably a reason and the you bound to be disappointed when you actually met her. Anyway, it sounds like she was following procedure and ended up painting herself into a corner by not coming clean about who she was when you asked about her on the phone.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, it's unfortunate but there are very few who conduct themselves with the kind of professionalism you would find in any other business.

I agree with both of you Twizzler & CapGuy, and I certainly don't expect an escort agency to be run with the same degree of profesionalism. The reason I walked out and will probably not go back, has a lot less to do with the phone confusion, and more to do with the poor attitude of the two women once I got there.

I was prepared to meet with the other girl. The reason I didn't was that she turned out to be a huge bitch, treating me very rudely.

And I would probably have been willing to meet with Sandy some other time, except that instead of just letting the phone thing go, she tried to convince me that it was all my fault.

Wow, that was long, isn't there usually a limit to the number of characters in a message around here? ;)

Anyways, you were afflicted with the "bird in the bush" syndrome. You had a bird in the hand (Sandy), but you wanted to see if the bird in the bush was better (bitch girl). You were even willing to wait nearly an hour for her.

As for the confusion with Sandy on the phone, they often put themselves into two modes: SP mode vs. receptionist mode. Sandy is likely not even her real name so she has no problem referring to her in the third person, as Sandy is just a character she plays.

I am new to Ottawa. So far, I've only tried 2 local SPs (and a bunch of MPs). I just wanted to try a third, before going back to one of the two I'd already seen. After all, variety is the spice of life. If I wanted the same girl all the time, I'd stick to having a girlfriend.

(And I only waited half an hour.)

Yeah, in that case it is completely justified to wait for it. No argument there.

Your sentence structure is horrible Jimmy.
I will correct it 4 U.

"I have spent some time with Sandy and she was GFE for sure but I cannot speak for everybody. She did everything I wanted and would go back for sure.
I want to avoid the SP with alot of bitch attitude, I dont suppose you have a name on her?? "

Thats the proper way you should have said it Jimmy.
I suggest you go to your local High School and take a night class in ENGLISH.
