Is a little too much being being made of a poster's comment here? While it is not my intention to defend anyone (on either side of this exchange), it seems to me that the poster (H_K) was expressing some annoyance at what he perceived to be a less-than-professional attitude on the part of a certain server. Perhaps he also made a bit too much of it, but I'm not sure there's much to be gained by insistent personal attacks. At the risk of sounding hokey, I endeavour to treat all posters with respect and will try to ignore anything (short of an undeserved personal attack) with which I disagree and profit from info and opinions I find useful.

Back on topic. Visited Pigale this afternoon for their legendary steak lunch, and hoping to re-acquaint with Zia (I had some cozy moments with her last Friday). Vegas is like being in a room with 150 totally selfish runway models who are hitting on you every second but only want to do a VIP ($150 for 15min) without even being willing to talk for a minute first. Pigale was the opposite and it caught me off guard, but in a good way. It started with my server who brought me a drink -- I gave her a generous $5 tip and she actually gave it back to me and then gave me change for the 5 in coins and counted out $3 for herself ... you coulda knocked me over with a feather. So then I'm sitting at the stage (because in a lot of places that's how you get the sharks to stop circling for a few min) and trying to figure out the tipping etiquette for stage dancers, and no one is tipping ... I was lost again ... I was surprised that it's totally cool to see these beautiful women without being expected to tip every song ... it was a nice treat ... later in the evening I caught the eye of one of the stage dancers I wanted to get to know better ... Charlotte ... she was slow and sultry on stage and had been giving me good eye contact so I had her show me the ropes ... we went to the CR for some dances and had a great time together -- all very mild and within SC guidelines ... and actually, the mileage was a lot less than I thought it would be but it was an awesome experience anyway -- I just had some mistaken impression that the "french" influence would be more handsy but it wasn't ... just a great series of dances with good contact, great smiles and eye contact, nice conversation ... bottom line -- a very different experience than I expected but probably even more enjoyable than I expected ... Went there unusually late yesterday night (Thursday). Thanks for your great report Rocky Racoon. It is good to know that Pigale is very busy even on a workday in the evening hours. Dancers had told me they make more money Monday to Thursday than weekends and now I have your confirmation. I usually used to go weekends and usually it is mildly busy Fridays 2:00 to 4:00 pm followed by quiet interval till 9:00 pm and gets real busy after 10:00 pm on the weekends, Saturdays in particular. It maybe quiet all this weekend and next weekend as well because of construction workers annual vacation in Quebec so may be best to stay away these two weekends.
On another note not related to your post most of Pigales ladies are very classy (apart from some being selective) and they don't hassle so one may have to take the initiative if one wishes for good time, unlike other strip bars. If one sits back (especially in large groups) hoping for being begged for dances, this does not happen at Pigales or is very rare. I will remember the names of those you recommended (Jolie, the slim curly brunette and tall redhead Jessica both seems very interesting) I may return to strip bars with less frequency like a few times a month rather than a few times a week.

That said starting September and new school year things may change.
