Pigales and Playmate

Strange how things go in clubs. Pigale seems to be on the way down, in terms of the quality of the women. The Playmate seems to be picking back up (though god knows there was only one direction it *could* go, after the last few years).

Anyone else noticed this?

I visit these places infrequwntly but find that Pigales usually has consistently better looking women. The Mate seems to vary more but overall has a wider selection (plain to gorgeous) and more mileage ..... just my $.02.

I like the mate. Very unique place.

Is Playmates the one now known as O'Ladies? I did a review on that place a few weeks back so I am not surprised if you are now finding the quality is getting very good.

Went there Sat. night, about 7-10 dancers, pretty boring though, they need bigger t.v.'s or something, and the stage shows are pretty lame as well, I like the showcase some clubs have ie. pink's(alymer), pigales et. el. Playmate Saturday nites

Actually, for a couple of years now at least Saturday nights tend to be dead, dead, dead at the 'Mate. This sometimes happens at Pigales too. Either that or, in the case of Pigs, it's the invasion of the couples (or mixed groups), and while this fills up the room they don't tend to drink as much, and they don't buy many dances.

Anyone here with a long memory will remember a time when you were lucky if you could catch your breath or raise your beer to your mouth without elbowing a dancer, at the Playmate on a Saturday night.

7-10 dancers on a Saturday night????? Most clubs have more than that in the middle of the afternoon. I`d heard some people say that the `Mate was better after the renovations, but apparently not.

Renovations at the 'Mate? What renovations? Must be over a few years or less than a few month, right? There was some stuff done there maybe 3-4 years ago, maybe more. That's all I remember.
Pigale was just deeply renovated last winter.

Pigale spends all that money to renovate and the men's can still looks and smells like the Montreal bus station head after a bad Friday night. The stall doors are falling off, half the time the sink is plugged and a while ago one of the urinals was broken for like TWO MONTHS. Frank too short of cash to fix a pisser? LoL!

You are right on that one... I bring my own hand cleaner in a tiny bottle and the girls love it! Plus it peach smell so it's a good topic starter when you go for a dance. I got a few free dance beause of that peach smell hand cleaner.
