Mariah was asked to be the Web cover girl and declined, as she lives in the area and like most of the girls who have been in the biz for a while, keeps a low profile in her personal life.
IIRC, two other 'local' Pigale beauties also declined.
Lauren is from out of town and had no problem with her pic being used on the site. She was not third choice by any means, by the way, she was working in the U.S. at the time the Web site was being revised and the club had trouble getting in touch to get clearance to use her image on the public part of the site.

If we are talking about the same girl, she is one of the Montreal girls who come and go from time to time. Business is down in many areas, in the clubs, so girls are all over the place, looking for where they can make money.
When things pick up (as in guys spending money, as opposed to the club just being full of drunk yahoos who slobber over the girls for one $20 downstairs, or demand a BJ as soon as they sit down in the champagne room), then you will see a LOT of departed faces reappear. Right now the best talent has mostly gone out of town.
With few exceptions the good talent that remains is either there because of local family commitments, or being lucky enough to have enough good regulars to keep money coming.
That, guys, is de facts. Everyone (dancers, bar staff, owners) is asking why things are down in the trade, no one has the exact answer.
And please don't start with the BS I've seen on dorkclublistdotcom about drink prices being up, etcetera, as in my experience the 'good' customers who were around week in and week out were not big drinkers anyway.
What is it? Everyone opting for MPAs? Hitting the highway for the FS clubs outside Montreal? All the silly service employees afraid Harper's going to move them to Edmonton? What's the word here?

What about the smoking ban? Has that been applied to Pigales? IMO, a big Ottawa customer draw was because you couldn't smoke at Barbarella's, but you could at Pigales.

Not sure whether the no smoking angle is going to mean much one way or the other. Probably some former Ottawa club regulars who left the Ontario side when the no smoking thing came in, may not bother to make the drive to Gatineau anymore and go back to the Ottawa clubs.
I was in the club on Saturday night and it was rocking like it hasn't since last Xmas, so maybe things are coming back -- or maybe it was just the lousy weather cancelling parties and BBQs.
But it's been REALLY quiet during the week, more so daytime. Seems like some guys who used to come in and hang out during the day are staying away for sure.

I really hope things pick up here in the summer. Do they still have features? Those always seemed silly to me. Many of the regular dancers are hotter than the features, but I found features like Sheena and Roxxy to be such snobs.
I made a visit to the infamous Super Sexe in Montreal (my first one in a couple of years). Alot of hot dancers there. I recognized the one with the bear paw tatoo on her butt and tiger on the front that did the rug munching lesbian show with the asian. She used to work at Pigales in Gatineau. Not so surprised she didn't stay there given what's been said about business being down. Also think I recognized another one from Pigales with big naturals that used to have a Senators jersey costume for her stage shows.

I didn't say Roxy wasn't a sweet girl. I think maybe you misunderstood what I meant by "snob".

RE: Not very busy at Pigale's
Dropped by last night, first time in a few months. I personally don't like the new set-up.
1) Can't sit at the bar and watch the girls on stage---your too far away, plus too many ceiling support beams in the way blocking the view of the stage.
2) If you sit at the 2nd bar, you can't see the main stage, only the mini stage.
3) You can't go for a pee in peace anymore. They now have a doorman in the men's washroom (even on a Sunday night!!!!) YIKES!!!!!
4) The cops are roaming the parking lot of Pigales + harassing Ontario customers in the parking lot before entering the club. (Check to see if you have valid insurance + license etc.....)
Pigales used to be my hangout, not anymore. I now usually head down to Club 77. For the reasons mentioned above. Although the girls are far better looking at Pigales.

I have not been to Pigales in awhile so I did not know she quit I will have to
talk with her sister and see what she's up too, she can get on my nerves

I find Club 77 to be fun on busy nights, but really boring on other nights. Don't know if it's still the case, but Saturdays seemed to be boring nights at Club 77. I also find you have to be choosy at 77 about who you take to the booth. Go for Ruby if you get the chance (thin, white chick with long wavy hair in her late 20's).
