You are suffering from brain damage my friend.

I've been posting well before mid-March.
I asked a simple question which you could have simply answered, but right off the bat an insult. Such a typical Con response. Right out of the playbook.

Here's another simple question. Why have you limited your profile?

Spoken like a true Liberal.

Accuse me of being a shill account, then when pushed back and told you're wrong, try to play the victim.

Why does it matter if my account is private? What does that have to do with anything here?

Here's a little reality check. And, to be clear, I'm going to attempt to be non-partisan right now.

Regardless of who forms a government, spending is almost certainly going to go up. We're in a stupid trade war with the US, and this means that several industries are going to be hit hard by this....like the steel/aluminum and car part makers. What this means is, the government (again, regardless if its Lib or Con) will likely need to implement some sort of support to ensure we do not lose these vital jobs. How will this all shake out? Hard to say.

Now, taking off the non-partisan hat, Pierre Poilivere's platform is...well...interesting. I'm sure there are many who LOVE the idea of a referendum to raise taxes...I am not a fan. I mean, I'm also not a big believer in certain tax cuts. And lord knows, I pay a lot in taxes....But, I view them as the entry fee for civilization. I know many of you do not agree with that. You cut taxes, it doesn't mean you'll see an increase in government revenue, which means PP and the Cons will likely be forced to cut social programs in some fashion. And, in times of crisis, who will happily vote for a tax increase? The reality here is that we elect our representatives to make those decisions. And, how costly and belaboured would a referendum be?

Plus, we know he's going to want to slash the CBC...But, that would be horrible since the majority of the media in Canada is foreign owned. News covering is expensive, and believe me when I say the CBC could likely be more efficient, but they cover stories across the country that PostMedia or CTV do not. And, in this day and age of fake news and bullshit reports that take over social media like wild fire, it is more vital now than ever.

I voted for Carney, but I find it funny that no one called him out on cancelling the capital gains tax hike, both PP and Carney are in a CONFLICT OF INTEREST position. PP has 11 rental properties all with LARGE cap gains on them. And Carney *may* still have stock options or they may have been disposed by his trustee, also with BIG CAPITAL GAINS. So both of them had policies which led to direct personal gains.

there is nothing funny about 1/2 of Canadians being $200 away from insolvency, record line ups at the food bank or persistent Liberal corruption
The are both cutting the lowest tax bracket. So unless these people are not paying taxes already they will benefit. Also what about all the programs PP plans to slash and burn? How will that affect the people that are $200 away from insolvency?

Your math skills are brutal - what part of $250 billion in new Liberal debt do you not understand? It is doubled since 2015 - they have never met their targets - so expect 2 trillion in Liberal debt by 2030
Debt interest is now more than all GST collected, more than all health care transfer payments to the provinces, but hey if you insist on voting Liberal go for it, it's free money in your mind I guess
A huge chunk of that was the pandemic. The last massive over spend was due to a court award to first nations (I think 17B or more)

I've voted Conservative in the past, so I wouldn't call myself a "true Liberal". But you term me however you want. You do, you. I only know that, I won't vote for bullies. Like many others (likely the majority), I was done the Trudeau but Poilievre's "Sellout Singh" was the straw that broke the camels back for me. Never once have I voted NDP (despised Andrea Horvath at the Provincial level and still do), but I believe in decorum from my elected leaders. Why should I vote for school yard bully. Notice, now that Trump light has fallen out of fashion in Canada he no longer has those bully nicknames. IMHO, he's an opportunistic phony.

I mistakenly thought your account only posted since mid-March. My bad and I'm willing to admit my mistake. But, you have restricted transparency on your account. You have your reasons, but I'm allowed to surmise you are trying to hide something. Though, I guess only you know what that is. Posting transparently has everything to do with things here. Again, you do you. I'm done with your political posts on a SP board.
