There are still underground clubs in Mississauga and Markham. If you go to the poker room at the casino, you can usually find the info on these clubs. You'll probably have to get "vouched" before you're allowed into the club.
My advice, go to the casino or play online. The rake is usually cheaper and it's not worth the risk going to the underground--they get busted occasionally.

I believe games where there is no rake, (the portion of the pot which is taken out for dealers, rent, expenses) are legal. However most clubs either take a portion of the pot or charge a session fee. Since the clubs are leary of LE, they usually have some policy for new members--it took 2 members to vouch for me before I was allowed to join.
