I’m fine either way. The only thing I don’t like are poorly done “jail house” tats.

Makes no difference as far as hobbying is concerned but if I had to choose, I'd choose girls without. Put another way, I've never found a woman more appealing because she had tattoos. But it has made some less appealing- usually poorly situated tattoos (back of the neck, superman logo on each shoulder, etc). I've booked women who are essentially covered in colourful tattoos and it looks fine but I don't think it's in any way an improvement of her natural body and would find her just as attractive, if not more so, if she had no graffiti at all.

No tattoos = thumbs up
Some small discrete tattoos = ok
Lots of tattoos = no thanks

As for piercings, ear lobes for me. That's it.

Tongue studs, orbital bone piercings, high cheekbone location, that retarded nostril ring which looks like something a bull would have, no thanks.

I hope both men and ladies realize that for many jobs, employers won't hire you if you have weird tattoos and piercings showing. It limits your career path.

Very anti-tattoo. I have never seen a woman whose beauty is enhanced by tattoos. They look
garish and take away from natural beauty. True, some of the images are, themselves, lovely, but
they'd look much better on a canvas than on a person.
And I guarantee anyone, every tattoo looks better when it's done to someone at age 20, compared to looking at it when they are 40 or 60

In the corporate or professional world, you wouldn't know about tattoos for men or women as both dress professionally and cover up their bodies. One will only notice if they are on the face, neck, or lower legs if a skirt or short dress is being worn. Even most women wear suits, jackets, sweaters or full arm-covering dresses/clothes. I'm sure the wise ones tailor their outfit choices though to avoid tattoo detection. I have seen a few people though who have non-ear piercings (or multiple ear piercings though) so I would think that's more likely frowned upon.
If someone is showing a small flower or ankle writing, people won't care. But for anyone with lots of visible tats, that is a big no-no. Maybe if you work in a creative employer, or (of course) are self-employed that's fine. But how many people do you see working in office buildings, banks, law offices, hospitals etc..... have people oozes tattoos everywhere?

Hardly any (if any).

You won't see many high level jobs with someone with a face full of tats. People may like or not, but many types of jobs still require a certain level of appearance and professionalism, and it's not going to seem right where a million dollar deal is being discussed where one guy is in a suit and tie, an the other has a face of blue ink or Asian characters.

Same reason you don't have important meetings wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants.

Non-ear piercings are even rarer. They might do that on their own time, but I don't remember seeing any coworkers wearing jewelry like nose rings, eye rings etc..... They either don't do it at all, or maybe they do ave those piercings but are smart enough not to bring that to the office.

+! , and I'm no fan of the nostril ring either :D . I don't use that adjective, ever, but agreed it does tend to come across as rather bovine.

Not a huge fan of pierced labia either; for me it just gets in the way of my tongue. I have no desire to lick metal.

I've always thought people who get piercings are a bit chicken. They always pick a tiny weak spot to pierce. They should go big or go home. Drill a hole right through yer bicep and hang a towel ring off it. Don't be a wuss! :D :D :D

I find that women with lots of tatoos are often fascinating women. I find a tattoo covered body or even just a tattoo covered calf incredibly sexy.

I find that they're usually immature, uncritical, and sheep-like in whatever mainstream/celebrity/pop culture tells them is uber cool.

So guys who don't like tats should see girls with tats even though it's probably a turn off? You then state you don't see girls (again) with fake boobs because it's a turn off. Bit of a contradiction.
I'm guessing he has seen girls that have them but he hasn't realised it. Yes there are obvious bad and overdone jobs but there are others that are amazing !

If a girl is truly beautiful, tats are a huge mistake. Ugly girls, tats can be a welcome distraction.

I think of it as equivalent to putting advertising decals on a Ferrari. Maybe a few small ones while diminishing the looks doesn't hurt the overall impact but ad more and make them larger, you have just ruined what could be a rare magnificent beauty.

That's a good analogy.

I'm more of a Jaguar fan myself though.

The mouthful of metal is the one drawback to piercings. Love their look but a cold hard ring on the nipple is not ideal for a good tonguing. If I know in advance the lady has piercings I will request studs vs. rings as I think they might be better. Unfortunately the one girl with studs had them done very recently so when I saw her they were off-limits - I nearly cried because they looked delicious.

At best tattoos are tolerable, at worst they're hugely off-putting IMO. I've never known a woman who was made more beautiful by her tattoos, but have known plenty who I would consider degraded by them.
Obviously I say this as personal preference; I know I have, and should have, no say in the matter.

I can tolerate tattoos, even plentiful tattoos, if the lady in question is otherwise amazing; Ryan Lagosee for instance. Side note, she has picked up probably twice the amount of ink since I last saw her, but the reason I haven't seen her lately is that I've only recently returned to the hobby from dating a civvy and has nothing to do with the ink.
