it's sad , but ...

It seems very odd that so many good folks would just suddenly disappear without a peep.
No goodbyes or less frequent visits, just all of a sudden it's like they simply ceased to exist.
Could have made for a good X-Files episode, or perhaps it is just a matter of significant others pulling their plugs.

I've thought about this before and it occurred to me that some members may just get up and die and we would never know. Due to the discrete nature of this hobby it's not likely they would leave any wishes that we are notified.

That being said, I hope any members presently MIA are alive and well ...

Just to add.......some may have been brainwashed and turned to the bible and devoted the rest of their lives to Christ, or budha, or the Cow. This board and this hobby is just wrong in their eyes.

Maybe he got back together with her and as a condition he probably had his computer privilieges taken away. she probably gave him an ultimatum.

I forgot to mention Alana. Alana was the greatest female poster to ever come on terb, the witty sarcasm, clever metaphors, and the random thought provoking raggae lirycs.

Here is another poster I miss:

aslan.

He was imho ( may be still is ) the king of unknown indie a while back, charting unmapped ( un reviewed ) territories, often with very uneventful results. But he shared his info ,and really went out of his way to help out a few indies, which is fine by my book.

He had quite a few funny ( in his own way ) and very explosive posts, highly entertaining none the less.

One of my favorite quote from him is:

" SO WHEN DID I STEP ON YOUR DICK , ( insert whatever handle you want ) ??? ...... "

A heck of a warrior.
He rarely posts now ( in the escorts section ), and might be active in chat .
