Where can I go for the best selection of the above mentioned electrical devices? Since oral hygiene is very important to the collective, I need your help with my next purchase.

Shoppers Drug Mart carries a wide variety from the cheapies to the $30 Oral B Vitality up to the Oral B Sonics that cost over $100.

Why would anyone need a POWERED toothbrush? Is the old fashion hand obsolete now?
My tooth-guy (what you would call a dental hygenist, but I keep it informal) recommended I try it. Simply, it does a far better job then sawing away with your hand like a savage.

No need for you to evolve, Rocky, but some of us will continue to do so...;-)

Another racket to sell us stuff we don't need. One of my co-workers is from Pakistan (some would call it a 3rd world country). When he first arrived in Canada he could pop the cap off a beer bottle with his teeth. After 15 years in Canada, his teeth is a mess. Why?

Pretty soon, they'll sell us some contraption to clean our penises and vaginas.:(

Because he popped beer cans with his teeth.

It's called a bidet . You've probably been using it to wash your feet (LOL) but that's not really it's primary use .

Come to think of it it would be a good drinking bowl for your horse (LOL).

I received a hand me down Oral-B electric toothbrush from a relative in 2002 and I immediately noticed that it did a better job than a manual.

Last year, it quit and I replaced it with a Oral-B 7550 model, which had twice the oscillations than the broken one.

The woman that scrapes the crap off my teeth while she presses her breasts into my arm tells me that she spends less time on my teeth during my annual visit, than most people that see her 4 times a year.

Now the dentist recommends that I use a manual, he claims that they are actually better than the electric. However, I get the feeling that he is missing my business.

I bought the 7550 at Wal-mart, on sale for $60 or so.

Guys, get serious for a moment. "They" are constantly trying to sell us shit that we don't need. Don't fall for their advertising crap. Your dental hygenist is probably getting a kickback from Oral-B.

I think my Pakistani friend's teeth were ruined by processed food and sugar water (aka Coke and Pepsi). And don't get me started on processed food and energy drinks.

There's a difference between a powered brush that spins the bristles and an " Ultrasonic " style one.. The "Ultra B" is ultra sonic, not mechanical.. It'll get stuff off your teeth that a mechanical won't.

Want to get even more crap out? Try a Water Pic. It'll blast stuff out from between the teeth and gum line, stimulates the gums and is the best thing in the world to point at the SO's ass when she invades the bathroom LOL

I can absolutely guarantee that my dental hygienist is not getting kickbacks from Oral B. He's not part of the dental care conspiracy, just a lowly foot soldier trying to save Canada's gums.

I just put my tooth brush in my fleshlight then turn it on. Saved 15 bucks.

You guys are right!!!!! Down with these corrupt dentists! The Canadian Dental Association is a farce!

(Unless they reccomend it because it's better than manual brushing. I actually pay them to give me this advice!)

I also oppose doctors telling me to eat healthy foods and stay active. They must be in league with the Farmers associations and the big gym corporations!

Na... I do that for free and I have no affiliation to any gym or food company or the medical profession what so ever.

But since you brought it up... doesn't anyone think it is just a bit ironic that "they" on one hand promote "Say no to drugs" and on the other hand "they" are also the BIGGEST drug pushers on the planet???? (Flu shots, cold and sinus remedies, etc...) The amount of $$$ spent on drug advertising is staggering!

Must be confusing to be a kid these days...

Let's be frank. EVERYBODY has an agenda.

Remember when the medical profession fought against mid-wives and home births? Mid-wives are witches in disguise and thousands of women will die in childbirth at home, blah, blah, blah. I know 2 ladies who gave birth at home (no, I wasn't in the room) and they said it was fantastic. One of the ladies had her first 2 in a hospital and the 3rd one at home.
