Priceline question...

I'd like to use Priceline to book a hotel in the U.S. I heard that you can only use a Mastercard credit card on the site and that you have to change your postal code (if you're a Canadian resident) to a zip code or they won't accept your bid. Is this true? Also, apparently there is a website that goes along with the priceline site...it offers tips and advice on how to use priceline. Does anyone know the address of that site? Please pm...

Thank you.

Hello Miss V,

The site you are referring to is : www.biddingfortravel.com and I think that now canadians are allowed to use Priceline.
If not, try www.Hotwire.com (same principle as priceline)

Hope this helps....

Hi Miss V,

I regularly use priceline for travel thruout the States and Canada;
I don't know about any rules blocking out bids from Canadians, but all types of credit cards are accepted. BiddingForTravel is a great resource to see what types of bids are being accepted for the city that you wish to visit; there is also a guideline on that site that offers a strategy of how to place priceline bids that is very helpful.

After you do your research on BiddingFor Travel, you can place your bid on the following site:

Good Luck!
