There was a fully naked man by the Starbucks at Yonge/College during the parade on Sunday. He had an Exhibitionist sign hanging around his neck. The cops did not do anything about him.
This community has lots to thank the gay community for in terms of their willingness to fight.
I saw a few penises (flaccid- nothing other than the human body-it's not like sex acts are occurring in the open....). I actually think I saw less nudity than I've seen in past years despite there being more people).
I went with a group of straight guys(a few of whom are still not totally comfortable with homosexuality but trying because we all have gay friends who we love). It wasn't too much for even them...
The nekkidness is typically a sign of protest and far from lewd. I still stand behind comments I've made in the past : I will bring my (future) kids to pride some day.
The real question is, why would you NOT take your daughters to see people having fun? What do you think would happen if they found out there's more to sexuality than 1 man + 1 woman forever together in an eternal, God-approved monogamous marriage?

There were close to 100,000 people at the parade, it is a very inclusive street party. Gay, straight, trans, locals, tourists...
Also there were a lot of corporate sponsors on display: Air Canada, TD Bank, Hilton Hotels, Telus, Loblaws, The Home Depot, Molson Canadian, Smart cars...are you going to avoid all of their products and services because they are not strictly hetero!
(You should avoid Air Canada but that's only because it's a bad airline LOL)

I really think that a good strategy for hobbyists against Bill C-36 is to try to get support and advice from the gay, trans, LGBT communities, to be seen and if not accepted then at least legally tolerated as another 'alternative' lifestyle.

Regarding male nudity, are we saying it is ok for little kids to see exposed male genitalia at the Gay Pride Parade but not anywhere else or anytime else in our society (e.g. in the lockerroom at the local gym)? Why is it ok in one venue but not in another venue? Or, are we saying it is ok regardless of the venue? Color me confused.
When nudity stops become such a sexual commodity then maybe it will be acceptable in society for what it is. Simply a birthday suit.
Besides there was the naked bike ride a couple of weeks as well. Nudity is not the issue, it is the label of sexuality out on it.
