Private Message Reply Button

Has anyone noticed there isno "REPLY" button in the private message window? I use the "QUOTE" button when replying and just delete the quoted text and it works just fine but why no "REPLY" button?

[PHNINE]

I noticed that too. Perhaps they are encouraging you to quote? I dunno...

VBulletin provides the shell and the software but leaves the individual site's mods to allow/deny capabilities/options such as icons/images/editing. They say whoever sets up your site is supposed to select or add the "REPLY" button in private messaging at their option.

It should be labeled "reply", after all that's what you want to do.
I do like the feature of quoting the original text as the default.

How hard is it to provide both options? do we have to quote every time we reply? At 1000 chars max message windows fill up fast

Wha, I would like to reply to your quote but am unable to quote your reply.
