Problem with Windows Media Player

I cant watch movies on this website:

Some days they play fine and other days they dont play at all.
I think it may be my settings on my Windows Media Player 10.0

Any brilliant TERB minds know how to fix this????

I have WMP 10 also
I get the following error message:

"No combination of filters could be found to render the stream"

Weird thing is is that it sopmetimes works and other times not
Somebody help, please!!!!

Just download and install a new codec package. WMP doesn't necessarily have them all.

I've had similar problems with various versions of Media Player at one time or another. Usually I'll just fool around with the settings. Sometimes it helps, other times it makes things worse. Then I'll just delete the program and D/L and re-install a new one. It usually works fine after that; if not, then just repeat the process- sometimes re-installing different versions.

As for installing codec packages, sometimes they help, somtimes they make things worse (from my experience). I think there are compatability issues between certain versions of WMP and codec packages.

As a last resort, you can always use Real Player and set it as your default video player. Real plays pretty much every type of video file.

Matrix thanks, I reinstalled realplayer and set it as my default wmplayer and now it works!!!!

OK people, if anyone is having similar problems playing some sites video's then here's what you do:

click start
click control panel
clck add/remove programs
click set defaults
click custom
Set Realplayer as your default media player
And uncheck the Windows media player box (important)!!!

This will deactivate windows media player and you dont need it because Realplayer will play almost everything

So there!!!
