If you’re going to do it, I don’t see why you would tell him a head of time. However, if you’re serious, you should consider the possible legal implications (e.g. getting charged with assault, being sued, etc.) Is the momentary satisfaction (I know from experience that these things can be very tempting), worth it?

Don't tell him at all. If you are going to throw someone through a fence, then just do it. If you plan on talking, then you might as well talk it out, and avoid the violence. So make up your mind, either do it without telling him, or just talk it out.

I know it's tempting but just forget about physically attacking this person. The downside is a lot bigger than the short term satisfaction you'll get out of it. Take the high road for now and think about some other non-violent way to punish this person.

You act as your are stating your warning.

strike first and fatal if you are in a situation that requies it. If not walk away.

Not me, but I'm not allowed to post in this thread because I'm not a friend.:D
I can post all I want. Not because I'm his friend, but because he has me on ignore.

Besides Lancs, I'm pretty sure I was the one he wanted to throw thru the fence........completely thru.

I guess he couldn't sum up the courage to do it cause here I am.......sitting on the fence.

When someone puts you on ignore I view it as the ultimate form of flattery. I know weber loves me , he's just too shy to admit it. Maybe its the same with you and mcluhan. :)

..
He told me I was on ignore twice but still responded to posts. Maybe it's a selective ignore he uses.

I'm not surprised you too are on his ignore list, basketcase. Mcluhan's ignore list is rife with those of higher intelligence. ;)

Besides, I believe having an ignore list says more about the person with the list, than the people on it.

I sometimes disagree with what Mcluhan posts but I have always found him to be a nice guy.

You seem as befuddled as a Limbaugh lemming!
EVERYONE knows the best 'Blowhards & Fools' populate the 'right' side of the political spectrum.....El Rushblowhard Limbaugh, Faux news, Dubya, Cheney, Jesse Helms, Paul Wolfowitz, William Kristol, et al., ad nauseum.......

Mac, a gentelman and a scholar, in no way shares the shortcomings of those listed above......;)
