Or how about we give whoever wins the election an opportunity to govern unilaterally within their term without constantly being thwarted by biased house & senate votes and sabotaged in spite.
That goes for both sides.
They either succeed or fail and after their term, can be judged by the people as to whether or not they have done a good job at improving people's lives.

What good does it do to elect a party and then hinder their plans (that they campaigned on) by not having them carry through?

I know that will never happen, but what has happened hasn't really worked.

True, but as I recall Trump had a Republican majority in both houses of Congress for the first two years of his presidency. And he still didn't get that wall built.
2 years isn't enough for anyone to accomplish much especially when under attack by a pitchfork mob looking for pointy black hats & brooms.

rump was in office for 4 years.
You mean he didn't make america great again?
He did make it great while he was there. You just hated him so much you refused to acknowledge it.
And thanks to people like you, he's coming back.

Thank you!

Happy now?

Trumps first 3 years economic numbers were no better than Obama's last 3. It's just Fox news called 2.4% GDP growth "pathetic" when Obama was president, and 2.4% GDP growth "roaring" when Trump was president. Then Trump tanked the economy and totally fucked up covid. He signed the deal with the taliban that fucked up that departure. He signed the deal with Saudis to cut back on oil production during pandemic to keep prices/profits high. It was the direct cause of huge inflation in petrol prices once pandemic cleared. He sold out allies (Kurds). Unilaterally discarded treaties (making USA forever untrustworthy in its commitments). He sided with dictators and murderers, attacked allies and democracies. He ceded the pacific to china. He sided with putin. He stole documents, led an insurrection based entirely on a lie. Currently NO ONE WHO WORKED WITH HIM ENDORSES HIM. IN FACT, THEY ALL SAY HE IS UNFIT FOR OFFICE. Everyone around him are convicted felons, including Trump. On the way out his treasury secretary and son in law earned billions. Trump and his daughter made millions when in the white house. His administration had the second most indictments of any administration after Nixon.
America was a laughing stock when Trump was president. He was laughed at the UN. Respect for America plummeted everywhere in the world except Russia and Israel.
Outside of that...

Back on topic. If Trump gets in as a lameduck president and pulls same stuff that he did durring his last presidency would the democrats impeach him.

True. And Trump has learned - he won't appoint anyone except those loyal to him, not the constitution. So they got no problem bending/breaking the law.

The House could possibly flip Democrat but I think the Senate is likely to tilt back to the GOP. This cycle there are more Dem senate seats up for grabs.

Biggest job loss since the depression was 'great'?

You're on a roll, you know support rapists, pedophiles, terrorists, crooks and genocide.
Let me use one of you go-to arguments shall I?

There was a global pandemic. It affected everyone.

Unlikely with the current voting map or polls.
But it would just mean a fair amount of gridlock on legislation, with Trump doing most of his work via executive action and the judiciary supporting him.

I'm curious to hear what you think the Trump administration did that was so great for Americans? i mean, I could produce a lengthy list of things Biden has done during his term in office. Some things are stuff Trump wanted to do, but couldn't (infrastructure week, anyone?)...

Besides a tax cut that helped the rich significantly more than the middle class or poor....what did Donnie do?

If he did something warranting it, maybe.
(I assume you mean "lame duck" here to mean that the house and senate are under the control of the Democratic Party?)

They can't remove him, though (no way they win 67 votes in the Senate), so it is kind of moot.

Last time I shared a fact-checked list of his accomplishments, you trivialized it, changed the subject, deflected, and ran away.

You seriously asking for a list again that you'll just ignore?

Kick me once...as they say.

Yes I did mean " lame duck" and the dems have control of both.
You might be right about the senate but the Republicans are pretty unpopular right now and there might be a few sane ones there to push impeachment over the line.
