I just receive a e-mail from Canada post telling me that they tried to deliver a package to me today and there was no answer at the door. The e-mail request a convenient delivery date and there will be a $1.25 delivery charge to be paid by credit card. They also request a date of birth to confirm my identity.

SCAM!!!!

The e-mail does not give a telephone number to call in for information. If you comply they will have your credit card number and date of birth.

Manchego Cat, you must be an easy mark. This looks like a faux CP scam to me. I have none of these issues, I've informed them which Shopper's Drug Mart Depot I want my items delivered to, no problem.

Are you a Zac LaVine fan?

I get texts claiming to be from Canada Post that say they have a package for me that has the wrong address. There is a link to click on to correct the address. Another scam.
I got an email claiming to be from my internet, phone and TV provider, a local company. This was easy to identify as a scram because of the spelling mistakes and awkward wording.

Never have this issue again and download the Canada Post app.

well the emails may come in again but never have to worry about it again. Just check your app.

Very convenient actually. With my company, we do a fair bit of shipping and this app has been extremely helpful.

So I just got this email. It forwards you through a few sites. But one is set up to collect the info.

So “Susy Fuckoff” from “scamville” at 123 fake st gave her email address of “scammer_r_us@fuckyou.com.

LOL.

They get these. It is a two form system so even when you enter bogus CC info, the system still takes the personal info and emails that to the scammers. So they see it. They move on of course but they still see and know they are not getting you.

I personally like when you get text scams, I text them back with a STD ridden dick pic. LOL

I get these quite often. Firstly, if they quote a tracking number, go to the Canada Post real website to confirm it, or go to one of their outlets. Chances are it is a fake number.
