Question for all hobbyists

So I've been in this game now for a lot longer than I ever expected. Good or bad? Who knows.

Something has happened to me over the years though. I've noticed that I've become a lot more open about talking to people about this hobby than I used to be. Now, keep in mind I do not tell ppl I participate in certain activities but whenever someone says something negative or rude about dancers, escorts, MPA's, I feel like I should school them a little bit. My bottom line to them usually is - you shouldn't judge someone solely based on their occupation. SP's of all kinds are people just like the rest of us so why do you think of them as being any different? In fact, at least it's a little more honest.

Prime example: Paying for gratification on any level is wrong and dirty.

What I usually say (in fewer words here): Do you think when you court a girl by taking them out to dinners, movies, shows, etc...you're essentially paying for the girl to like you on some level? (Vice versa version goes to women friends as well)

Surprisingly, most people understand and agree with my pov.

So my question to you all is............

As you delve deeper into this hobby, do you find that you come to it's defense amongst your peers/friends? Something that you may not have done before you started hobbying?

Definitely stand up for them, especially when crack whores, streetwalkers, sex slaves, and escorts are just lumped together.

Yup you got that right! I also recommend to my friends the best
places to visit and places to avoid so that they don't get ripped off.

You must have a positive attitude when you visit your favorite SP or MPA.
self confidence within yourself always wins you dates and phone numbers.

I was referring to the phrase "paying for gratification".
Shoot, I thought it was "praying" for gratification:p . Less expensive that way but might be harder to achieve.

I saw Bill Clinton's motorcade today leaving the Front & York area.

I wonder if he ...

People are entitled to their opinions, it's what makes up who each of us are. If their opinion is based on lack of information or false information ... then yes, I will inform them what they have been too ignorant to base their opinion on. Some people are stubborn and not worth informing, so leaving them to have their opinion, however far off from the truth it may be, is all you can do.

I much value the company of dancers (strippers if you will) over investment bankers, lawyers and CPP fund managers.
