Questions about IN

Hi everyone,

This maybe a dumb question but I tried to do a search but I didn't find anything on my question involving IN (then again maybe I use the wrong search words).

Anyway, when you fill out the booking form with IN do you have to give a cell phone # (any phone # for that matter) ? It has the * beside the field and that usually means that you need to fill out the field.

I'm probably the last person in the world to have a cell phone. I was wondering does IN requires that info for booking or is that more to make things easier if there is a cancellation on IN's part.

I was thinking of trying out Sweet Sophie on election day, figured since we are going to get screwed I might as well do some screwing myself :D

I specifically request that communication be my e-mail only and this seems to work. When booking, type xxx-xxxx (literally!) as the phone number and your request will then be processed. If you are a first timer, they may give you a small hassle but you can explain your situation in the e-mails that follow.

Good luck.

Never needed a phone number to book. I typically entered N/A in this field. All communication was via email, sometimes late, but in those cases we managed to find a mutually satisfactory time for the appointment.
Good luck.

The cell phone no. is good for last minute changes

Like many said already, you don't really need one but it is good to leave one for last minute changes on I-N's side. That happened to me a couple of times when the sweet young ladies couldn't get lovely buns out of bed at 12:30 (pm) or the earlier appt got delayed so I had to move mine in the last minute while driving there ...

I game 'em a cell number, and they've called it twice in the past year, both times to let me know that they had to cancel my appointment at the last minute. One time it was because they couldn't find a reasonably priced hotel in Toronto (a convention was on at the time), and the other time because the girl cancelled the last half of her tour due to lack of bookings.

I know someone else who gave 'em a totally fake phone number and was still able to book with them without any problem.

However, I noticed last week that I-N is now saying in their posts in the Advertisers' section that new customers MUST provide a legit phone number and they WILL check it. If the phone number doesn't pan out, they'll cancel your appointment. Sounds like they've been burned once too often.

More Like A Question for IN

The Cel comes in handy, to contact you in an emergency situation. They do e-mail too but sometimes you're away from the PC or on route.

On another note

Briana is such a cutie and I was thinking about booking but IN has two prices set-up 250 is quoted on the myinvip.com site and 300 when I looked on the member site.

Hey IN which one is it? This can cause some embarrasment if one was to show up expecting to pay the lower and she is expecting more?

As some 4-stars hotels get smartened up when they see nice looking and young single girls checking in, they sometimes checked them into the "club" floors where you need the proper room key to access those floors from the elevator. Usually, i-n will set things up for the girl to meet you somewhere else inside the hotel first but traffic (especially in the Winter) or other circumstances can cause you to miss each other. In those cases, the cell phone is handy too for the i-n to reconnect with you on how to get onto those floors.

On the rate, the i-n member site is usually more accurate than the one in www.myinvip.com/ottawa.

No Point in giving your number anyway!

I logged onto the members site this morning to see that to my delight Sabrina was making a stop in Ottawa this weekend. I had been waiting along time to see her as my schedule didn't jive. We'll I thought today was going to be my lucky day.

I booked an appointment and got a quick reply that it had been confirmed for 2:45 pm today along with the name of the hotel and but the room number hadn't been confirmed which was fine as this was early this morning.

So it's 1:15 pm and I needed to get away from the PC, so I e-mailed them to let IN know I wouldn't have access to a PC for a bit and to kindly call me to confirm or in the worst case give me an update. From the burbs I head into the city

I'm in the neighbourhood of the hotel and still no phone call by the time I was supposed to see her. I then book some time into the hotel's business centre to check my e-mails and the member site to see if there is a confirmation/cancellation and there is none. I fire off another e-mail to let them know I'm in the lobby area and to call asap and still no response.

So after an hour I said "screw it" and headed for home, well at 4:30 or so I get a call to tell me she arrived and I could now see her. I'm a tad peed and kindly declined as I'm almost in the driveway and I wasn't up to battling rush hour traffic. The operator says "ok then thanks", not an apology nothing.

I'm a pretty understanding lad that sometimes circumstances occur beyond our control and that's fine, but I gave them ample opportunity to call and they didn't even give me an update of what was going on, perhaps thinking that this girl is so hot he'll change his mind.

The other issue although not major is I'm out a few bucks for parking - the door fee in the business centre and fuel etc.

I doubt if I'll repeat with them, as there are allot of touring independents in the city these days.

Sorry IN, you screwed up!

Lost in Ottawa.....get real!
Downtown has 8 main runs North to South.....and then about 20 runing East to West......
That is a pitiful reason.
If you can et lost in downtown Ottawa then do not go to the bathroom in your own house without a string to find your way back.

I have supported IN many times.....but this is just silly.

Lost in Ottawa, OK that's fine but...

I wrote IN to mention my displeasure with the service, to their credit they wrote to say there were sorry and offered a somewhat reduced price if I chose to see her today for the inconvenience. They also told me Sabrina was delayed as she took a later bus to Ottawa. If this was the case one would assume she would have jumped in cab to the hotel which no more that 5 min cab ride from the bus station. So how can you get lost and end up on Montreal Road which is like 5km or more east, Did the cab driver take them for a ride???
