Jim "Shaky" Hunt has passed on. He was around forever.

I heard he covered every Grey Cup game from 1949-1999.

Milt Dunnell is still the patriarch of sports reporting in Canada.

I loved him when he was on The Fan 590. He always seemed to be getting cast aside (I don't think McCown liked him stealing his thunder on the Friday round tables), and I've never listened to the Fan is the morning since they got rid of "Wakey, Wakey, Shaky".

Like others have said, I really missed listening to him on the FAN. He used to crack me up.

I always wondered why they didn't bring him back for an occasional round table, unless he was too ill.

He was great on the Fan... I can hear him now starting with "Well I'll tell you Robert... the best fight was with Sugar Ray Robinson way back in the 1930's.... etc etc etc.." then the McCowan pause... "Are you done Shake?"... " I guess so Robert.. what the hell do I know anyways?".. haha what a pisser..

RIP Shakey
